Well in my estimation, he is extremely slow of hand and foot, is wide open up the middle, I also feel he gets disorganized when combination's are thrown at him, which will be factor against someone like Khan who puts straight punches together at speed, although Maidana does have excellent power, seem to be particularly good at sneaking in hard shots to the body.

Maidana showed signs of fatigue in his last fight imo, and maybe a flaw in his mental make up as he seem to became a bit disinterested late in the fight with Corley

Yep, I'd go with that, he is a one paced, aggressive power puncher imo

Why does everyone say Maidana has slow hands?

To be fair, I've only seen one of his fights, so I'm not clued up here, but I thought he was fairly quick in the Ortiz match. I mean, Ortiz has fast hands himself, and he didn't look THAT much quicker than Maidana, surely. Maidana is probably slow on his feet, but from what I saw of his handspeed, it's not bad at all. Certainly not what I would call slow.

I personally think he is slow, but I dont begrudge anyone else who disagrees, that said, he is probably not as! slow as he appears to be, to me at least, maybe its cause every punch is thrown with murderous intent, so the transition from one punch to another, seems slow?

    Don't have a camera.

If Khan wins, you'll use an Amir avatar for a week. If Maidana wins, I'll use an Marcos avatar for a week. What do you think?
