In Nevada, WW's wear 10oz unless both fighters agree to 8oz gloves. Actually that rule is there from 140 to 147

the norm in boxing is 8oz gloves 147 and under. 10oz gloves 154 and up.

Pac has never fought with 10oz gloves in his entire career.

10 oz is normal, you have to request 8 oz.

I think all but one have been 8 Oz which he agreed to with Pac and has agreed to with Mosley.

Against Hatton I think he had 10 Oz.

found a solid source. from ESPN, april 25 2008

"a provisional rule that has been used for the past couple of years in Nevada, boxers who weighed more than the 135-pound lightweight limit had to wear 10-ounce gloves."

"In virtually every other jurisdiction in the world, fighters wear 8-ounce gloves up to the 147-pound welterweight class with 10-ounce gloves being worn in fights over 147 pounds."

"The Nevada State Athletic Commission on Thursday amended its rule for glove size, putting Las Vegas into the hunt to land the much-anticipated July 26 bout between welterweight titleholder Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito. Cotto and Margarito have always fought in 8-ounce gloves and prefer to continue fighting in them.

At Thursday's meeting, the commission voted 4-0 [one commissioner was absent] to allow lightweight and welterweight fighters the option of using 8- or 10-ounce gloves. If the camps can't agree, the default glove size will be 10 ounces, commission executive director Keith Kizer said."

Basically, WW's fight with 8oz gloves everywhere except in Nevada, where its 10oz gloves unless the fighters both agree to wear 8oz.

found another source (Las Vegas Review Journal) that says that the Nevada rule to wear 10oz gloves above 135 "had been in place since Sept. 21, 2006"

With that info you should be able to know what kind of gloves PBF wore in his last 10 fights, apart from the Hatton and JMM fights where it could be either 8 or 10 depending on the contract.

Only Floyd's last 5 fights have been in Vegas out of his past 10.

In fact only like 16 of Floyd's fights of his career have been in Vegas.

no he wore 8oz gloves but the brand was Winning which are softer than the Cleto Reyes (clitoris as Pac calls them) gloves that Pac is used to wearing.

I also want to say he had to use 10 oz gloves in his lost to Torecampo. Not 100% sure though I know he had to wear heavier gloves then Torecampo because he failed to make weight though.
