:rofl That´s some funny ****. Although I respect Pavlik and like his style. Hope he gets back on track again. His fights are great to watch, well most of them. Hope he gets in the ring again against some real competion

Yeah I got that impression, too. It seems he needs to feel some kind of pressure or challenge to motivate himself.

You are right the ref should have disqualified Miranda :good

So, your chin is only proven when you are in numerous brawls? Going by this Vitali's chin is unproven too, right?

    I agree with that.

Nobody ever stated that. He did not stand toe to toe but he also didn't run. He moved more than normally that's rue but that was still far from running. :bart

You don'tknow much about boxing history, right? Sturm is a far shot from a terrible champ. He beat some serious opposition like Velasco (former champ), DLH, Masoe (former champ), Castillejo (two weight champ), Griffin, Sylvester (future champ), Ghevor. He had his fair share of easy fights in-between but that does not make him a terrible champ. Actually his resume has more depth than Pavlik's.

AA is quality, dude can pull a KO out of no-were, ask Taylor, 15 seconds left of the fight man it was like the Froch fight all over again

The reasons i like Arthur and im by no means a AA fanatic but what i see when i see him fight are,a very good tight defense ( reminds me of Hopkins they way he holds his hands up so nice and tightly)a solid chin, very good stamina, very good boxing skill(not great but good),and the desire and heart of an lion...And the nost important thing he has is his tenacious nature to win he will fight every minute of the fight and not quit....While some do not like him you have to respect him.

I just don't see that, but IF Froch is able to accomplish this mission, then I'll take my hat off to him.

If a fighter without a good D would be able to win against Abraham, it would really surprise me.

AA vs Froch = Froch KTFO

Vitali has taken a bunch of good punches from Lennox Lewis and some from Corey Sanders. I think he's more proven than AA, but I wouldn't put him into the iron chin category like Tua or Holyfield or Margarito (yeah, Mosley cracked him eventually...).

He's solid and he's never been down (in pro boxing), but I wouldn't rule out that a good shot from Haye could put him down. I won't bet my money on that or a Haye win, though.

Then we have to agree to disagree here :)

:good I felt the same way about him, but he impressed me so much in the Taylor win. Though i'd like to say Dirrell outboxes him, until he gets a new trainer I don't think he will. He will run like he did in the Stevens fight, but AA ain't no Curtis Stevens.

Abraham is proof that Sauerland is a truly great promoter. He turned a flat footed club fighter with slow hands and terrible technique into an international star.

Yes, you're right, I dont know my history. Defeating a true middleweight like ODLH, the ATG Randy Griffin and another natural middleweight like Castillejo obviously shows how deep Sturm's record is.

Whereas KP's wins over Miranda and Taylor twice are obviously the mark of the worst middleweight champion ever.

For the record, the Sturm comment was as flippant as yours about KP. Anyone (anyone!) that wins a belt is deserving of respect in my book. To dismiss Kelly as the worst of the bunch is simply incorrect in my book.

Back to the point in hand on AA though, I think Boo is partly correct in that on the face of it King Arthur doesnt have a great deal about him. But while he keeps winning it's difficult to write him off. As I've said, I'll rank him after he fights Dirrell and Froch.

I never wrote Pavlik is he worst champ ever but he surely isn' amont the best. He also defeated Taylor just once at mw. Obviously a better win than any Sturm has. But Ghevor, Sylvester, Masoe and Velasco are all better wins than Miranda. Sturm's record has more deph than Pavlik.

Read it up. I never made a comment about Pavlik.

Boo is never right when i comes to anything involving AA or Pavlik. He is too much of a Pavlik-fanboy.
