I saw this on the "odds" page here at ESB but what do the numbers mean?

    Floyd Mayweather Jr.

    Rick Hatton+185

Does that mean that if I bet a dollar on Hatton and he wins, I win 185?

You bet 255 on Floyd you win 100. You bet 100 on Hatton, you win 185.

    Correct.

Floyd, the favorite and safest bet, gives you a 44% return on investment...whereas Ricky, the underdog, and riskier bet, will give you a 185% return on investment.

-225 means if you bet $225 on Mayweather you win $100. Unless he wins by KO in which case you win $150. If he wins via SD you don't get anything but you get $500 if he KOs Hatton with a body shot.

If Hatton KOs Mayweather in the first 2 rounds you are required to give the bookmaker another $100.
