I'm new to this forum but I've seen this acronym alot. Sorry if this has been asked before, if so can you provide the link to the thread? I've searched and couldn't find anything. Thanks!
Head to Head; if two discussed fighters fought, or how they'd fare in matches with others. Example: Geale is better than Golovkin in terms of accomplishment and deserved ranking. But Golovkin is better than Geale in terms of H2H.
Head to head adj. being or occurring in direct personal confrontation examples: ¨Vitali would beat any HW to ever lace the gloves H2H, he's the H2H GOAT ¨ ¨JMM is greater and more skilled than Carl Froch will ever be, but H2H Froch would win because of the size difference¨
Yeah, basically if they're going up against one another in the ring. I say Sugar Ray Robinson during his prime is the best of all time in terms of head-to-head ability against opponents. It doesn't necessarily mean he's the 'greatest'. i.e Sugar Ray Leonard I think is the second best fighter ever, but I can think of around 14 other boxers who have a 'greater' career than him.
willie pep was strong H2H. I saw documentary where they said he fought heavies for money before going legally pro
