Can someone explain how Lomachenko is top 10 P4P?

I made one, but kept it private, it's very difficult to make. I kept changing it and struggled badly, so right now I don't have one. It takes time to make one.

I guarantee you'll have fighters who have done less above others who've done more though.

Though I agree that Loma isn't p4p top 10 yet, his achievements aren't particularly impressive the only criteria by which he meets it is h2h and skillswise you can easily make a case he's one of the top 10 boxers on the planet ATM.

Unless I guess you take into account that he's achieved what he did within 7 bouts which is impressive actually.

Still struggle with the PFP concept, was Wlad considered a top ten pound for pound and does Tyson Fury automatically take that or does Wlad still stay up there on his history/resume?

People had Rigo p4p number 1 or at least top 3 after Donaire and still do and his resume is utter ****e apart from the Donaire win.

Throw into the mix Donaire is vastly overrated imo.

    Lomachenko is the truth.

Because people rate his H2H skills? If it was all about resume then why isn't Pacquiao still #1? His resume completely ****s on every other active boxer by a ton.

But why isn't he #1 anymore? It's because p4p is not a ranking of resume.

'Depends if you're basing it off who beats who'... Wow so you can magically tell who beats who in every potential match up? Man you must be raking it at the bookies.

Resume is the single most important thing when ranking p4p, without top level wins that prove their worth, fighters cannot be ranked among the best, no matter how great you think they look clowning on scrubs.

Lomachenko lost to Salido, and his best win is Gary Russell Jr so I'm not sure how he can be considered 'without doubt one of the top ten fighters today'. He looks like he has the talent to get there but let's not jump the gun.

Not entirely resume, not entirely H2H skills either.

I think p4p is an overused and very subjective term/measuring. With as many weights and titles and fighters getting a top 10 of such a large field is tough and easy to disagree on.

Lomachenko is talented and so far has done some good things as a pro but like others pointed out his loss to Salido despite how early it was in his career is tough to forget given Mikey Garcia and Gamboa handled him and I was thinking if Lomachenko was at their level he would do the same...now there are factors that I'm not trying to gloss over or over simplify.

And again, his best win is either Gary Russel or Roman Martinez. Russel is pretty green in the pro ranks himself despite the big win vs Gonzalez and Martinez has been in the title picture a good while but no one is confusing him with being a great fighter

on potential and skills sure hes up there but showing these skills vs top talent will take him to the realm of the best in the game.. I just cant say he is there yet
