Can someone explain the metric for "harder" shots?

YOu weren't a former fighter. . . THere's no sense in trying to bring that into the argument, because you can't prove it anyway.

Unless you can prove it - then by all means, do so.

 

Watch the Manfredy vs Ivan Robinson fight for what harder punching is vs a pitty pat puncher.

I tend not to use the term "Harder shots" anyways because there is no way to tell. I like the term 'clean punching' as opposed to hard punching. What if both guys are gassed and not landing much? Clean punches will count for the most :good

 

Unless of course a punch lands and visibly shakes that opponent up then it's obvious as to what hard punches were landed.

 

Here is the metric system for measuring punches -

Can't punch through wet paper - pre-roided malignaggi, Juan Diaz

Can punch through wet paper, but not through dry paper - Bradley, Mathebula

Can punch through wet paper but can not break a fresh egg -Floyd Mayweather

Can break a fresh egg but not hard boiled egg - Cotto, Margarito



Etc. etc...
