Can someone explain the Thaxton/ Khan situation to me?..

    Warren claims to have offered Jon 50/50 split outside the purse bids in a deal worth, reportedly, £100,000 - Hennessy promotions refused.

    Hennessy claim to have offered Khan £300,000 outside the purse bids - Warren refused.

    Warren pulled Khan out of the purse bids and is lobbying the WBO for Khan Kristiansen to be a WBO eliminator with a vierw to the winne rfighting Kastidis (i think) in the summer.

    Khan wants to fight Thaxont, Thaxton wants to fight Khan but promotional politics have gotten in the way.

    I think ..... ?

    Thought so... who'd have ever thought Thaxton would be in a position where politics made it impossible for a fight to happen. I know one or two people who fancy Thaxton for the upset.

    I'm probably the only loser here who would be happy if Khan-Thaxton didn't happen. Agree with Stuey, I can only see Thaxton taking a beating...with only the kind of and the length of the beating varying depending on the kind of Kebab the fighters have the night before.

    Well somethings not right. If Warren thinks Thaxton receieving 100k is 50-50, why would he then turn down 300k from Hennesey?
