His grabbing and clinching wasn’t even part of the ebb and flow of the contest (fight would be the wrong word)...it was his primary strategy in every fight....punching his opponent was an inconvenient afterthought only to be deployed after the opponent was worn down from carrying him on their back for a few rounds.

I love going back and watching all kinds of fights on YouTube....I have never heard anyone ever talk about going back and watching Waldo fights.

Dumbo he lost because of his age not when he faced “elite” opponents.
Does Fury even have a win against A or B+ opponent in his prime? Wilder ?? Hell NO. The best win fat clown has is chisora , that’s the only decent fighter in his prime that fury fought and defeated . Fury’s resume is a joke.
Wlad was 40 !! Where will Fury be by the time he’s 36 ?? He will be 400lb clown bragging about his weak ass win against 40yo hasbeen and his TKO against the glass jawed guy who can’t box .

someone posted this on the other boxing forum

"I don't believe Wilder would've lost to any of the fighters Wlad lost to except Fury of course. And there isn't one fighter who Wlad beat who I think Wilder couldn't. He lost to the same fighter Wlad did, but much more combatively."

Also the proof is in the pudding...the Heavyweight Division is alive again for the first time in years...the Klitschko’s killed the heavyweight division (and very nearly the whole sport with it) when they were around...the resurgence in the popularity of boxing has corresponded exactly with the departure of the Klitschkos.

relax my guy, it’s only the internet.

fury beat wlad. Fury won the belt that wlad couldn’t get his hands on.

Wlad has been ko’d by C/d level fighters

fury isn’t finished yet. If he beats aj, Whyte and Usyk and retires undefeated he is above wlad

Fury’s win against Wlad is worth nothing, well it’s worth as much as McBride’s win against Mike Tyson , or Wlad’s win against Ray Mercer.
Fury’s best wins so far is chisora and wilder and neither wilder nor Chisora are elites.
As I said get back to me when Fury beats at least a few live bodies in their prime .
For Fury to be ranked above Wlad he would need to reign as a champion for at least 5 years and get 5-7 quality wins.

yes because Klitchko in his prime would have smashed hype jobs like wilder , ortiz and would have beat Fury and AJ

Wlad's resume is filled with 'many' no hopers like that New Zealand midget for for the most part it is excellent; from top contenders to former olympians.

    Yes. Compare their top wins:

    Prime Povetkin > old Ortiz
    Prime Pulev > old Ortiz
    Prime Peter > Stiverne
    Prime Haye > ??
    Prime Byrd > ??
    Past-prime Byrd > ??
    Prime Chagaev > ??
    Prime Ibragimov > ??

Even Wilder's gimme title defences weren't as good as Wlad's. Wlad easily has a much better résumé than Wilder, hell a few people Wlad beat would beat Wilder.

I think Wlad has some better wins than Wilder but even if you think their best wins are comparable. Wlad just has more of those so he wins on quantity.

The comic above has spoken. Lol

    So when McBride fought Tyson.
Tyson was 3-2-0 with 1NC in his previous 6 fights and his fight before the McBride fight was an inside schedule loss.
Had only had around 6 fights in 4 1/2 years.
His last world title victory was nearly 9 years previously.

Wladimir in his 6 fights previous to Fury was 6-0-0 and 5 of those opponents were undefeated, 2 of which all this time later are still in some people's top 10
Wladimir was also a reigning champion

    Roll on joke

Now when were you going to show me your prediction of Fury/Wladimir?
