Can someone explain to me why people rate Usyk above Mayweather & Pacquiao ?

Because he's done it all as the B side, has ducked no one, has fully unified two divisions in his opponents back yards.

FMJ has twice as many fights as Usyk and is also undefeated. FMJ also has better wins.
Pacquiao is a champion in 8 (eight) different weight classes.
Both are ATG (all weight classes) and P4P above Usyk.

Floyd admits to taking the lowest risk approach possible. He did not fight the best available or against his greatest threats who would have had stylistic advantages, so his place in boxing history is compromised.

Manny took on all comers but his losses, in particular against JMM, show he had his weaknesses.

Usyk on the other hand took maximum risk, fought the best and won.

They’re biased and braindead. Usyk isn’t fit to hold either of their jockstaps

If Mayweather wasn't such a diva - playing silly games out of the ring, and to some extent cherry-picking, he would have a lot more respect from people on here and in the boxing community. Usyk for example, literally oozes class in and out of the ring.

And as a fighter I rate Mayweather very highly.

Heavyweight boxing gets a lot more attention than welterweight boxing in general. Also, there is a saying that anyone in the HW can get knocked out and Usyk is somehow still standing which is so impressive - on top of being the number 1 pound for pound. And, recency bias is also a factor, I'll give you that.

Usyk over Mayweather is pretty obvious. Undisputed at Cruiserweight and Heavyweight beating guys when they were actually the man. Floyd just has a lot of good wins but he picks and chooses when and who to fight. Conquering AJ and Fury twice back to back is more impressive than anything Mayweather has ever done. With pretty much all his top career run being away from home too.

Usyk fought the best at cruiserweight and heavyweight, and unified ALL the titles in each division.

And he did it mostly on the road in his opponent's home country, with a couple of fights in neutral locations.

He fought the best in each division in their PRIME.

Mayweather carefully chose opponents who had name value but were older, smaller, faded and/or had been knocked out and/or has losses.

He always demanded home advantage in Las Vegas where corrupt officials had his back, as in Castillo I, Maidana I (judges) and Hatton (corrupt referee).

Mayweather demanded catchweights for JMM (which Floyd couldn't make) and Alvarez (to weight-drain him). He demanded Hatton the super-lightweight champion fight him at welterweight. Mayweather avoided Forrest, Tszyu (cried about him not being in the same division, but made JMM move up from lightweight and Hatton from 140), prime Mosley at 135, prime De La Hoya at 135 (but fought Hernandez after DLH beat him), prime Williams, prime Cotto, prime Trinidad, prime Wright (cried he was one weight division bigger), prime Pacquiao, and prime Margarito.

Mayweather was not an exciting boxer, he put people to sleep with his dull defensive cowardly style. He had one stoppage win in his last ten fights, and that was a sucker punch over Ortiz. He couldn't even stop shot Berto, or the much smaller Guerrero and Marquez. Pathetic.

Besides that, Mayweather is a woman-beater, he beat up the mother of his children, while Usyk is an honorable Christian man who would never stoop so low as to beat up a woman.

Usyk is greater than Mayweather in every way.

    My reason is that
    1. Pacman was an obvious PED cheat who also drained a number of opponents for his big wins. Got KO'd earlier, then KO'd by Marquez, then beat by Horn.
    2. Mayweather was an obvious PED cheat (IV etc.) who drained Canelo for that big win and cherry-picked good styles for advantage.
Cheating sucker-punch victory of Ortiz. Almost beaten by Maidana.

It's obvious both also avoided each other for as long as possible.
There are signs Mayweather ducked some others too.

Usyk took way more dangerous opponents without compromising them, is undefeated, Olympic champion, unified cruiser and HW champion.
He's obviously on a completely different level to Pacman skill wise. He's clearly better than Mayweather too considering he has outboxed far more dangerous opponents in their faces without running round defensively with a spoiler style.

How is it pretty obvious ?

Mayweather was Lineal champion in 4 weightclasses.

Fury was the man ? He arguably lost to an MMA fighter prior to facing Usyk.

Joshua had been bounced around the ring by an obese Ruiz and recently he got dismantled by Dubois.

Mayweather beat Canelo when he was the best Jr Middleweight in the world.

Mayweather beat Castillo when he was the best Lightweight in the world.

Mayweather beat Corrales when was the best Super Featherweight in the world.

Mayweather has dozens of top notable wins which dwarfs Usyk's resume in terms of depth.

Mayweather has 26 world title wins compared to 12 for Usyk.

Mayweather beat 6 top 10 P4P fighters compared to 0 for Usyk.

Mayweather beat 21 top 10 ranked fighters compared to 12 for Usyk.

So clearly its not pretty obvious and Mayweather trumps Usyk by a considerable margin in all the metrics which you use to rate a fighters resume.

Usyk fought the best guys in each division, and in their prime. He is 2x undisputed in 2 weight divisions. He gives up so many advantages to his opponents at Heavyweight and still manages to find ways to win. And the Heavyweight is the glamour division of boxing.

The thing with Mayweather is that he was rarely at a reach or height disadvantage. He had a reach advantage over nearly every one of his opponents. He picked on smaller guys often and didn’t fight many of them in their prime. He also had a couple of controversial decisions that many believed he lost.

It’s impressive that Pacquiao went through so many divisions, but he had a number of loses, though some were robberies. I think Pacquaio had a really impressive career, and he’s an amazing athlete, but always felt like his skills were just not as good as Usyk’s.

Yeah, Usyk never beat any P4P fighter, nor fought as often as Pac per year.

BS. Only top guy Usyk fought in their prime was Briedis and it was a close fight.

In the case of Mayweather, because he aged guys out, cherrypicked, weight drained and had his own personal IV station, a thing which is well known to be used to mask PEDs.
