Can someone explain why Adamek is not top 10 p4p?

name me a current fighter that is undefeated and is two division champion? only calderon comes to mind and yes calderon is legit top 10

and adamek still has unfinished business with not top 40 fighter in cunningham and he is the same fighter that was outclassed by dawson

 

Linares is not a legitimate champion by any means. Larios was a fairly good scalp, but way past it. He has since regained the title so not completely shot, and whilst I can't think of anyone else who fits the bill. Linares, whilst showing a very good skillset has beaten no one of the calibre that means he gets into the P4P top 30. If he'd stayed at FW and beaten say, Luevano, then he'd be top 20. He defended his titles against nobodies, and won the WBA title at 130 against a nobody.

If he were to beat Soto, Gamboa (when he finally moves up to 130 fulltime) or Guerrero I might just become a believer.

Until then, I'm annoyed the amount of hype that surrounds this guy.

to be in the top ten, Adamek would had to beat someone like Dawson, or clear the cruiser division

 

good points. adamek a very good fighter, i like him, but only with a victory over his conqueror dawson and another credible win, such as vs. Hopkins, even tho 200lbs is not Bhops natural weight, Bhops is an atg and has more talent in his little pinky to possibly upset anyone at 200lbs. joe calzaghe wouldn't be so high in the p4p if it wasn't for his victory over Bhops and until proven otherwise Bhops still is a genuine threat to anyone 160-175lbs

 

STFU about Linares. He's beaten old ass Larios, thats it. He isn't above Adamek by any stretch of the imagination. Or, well... by a really really long and far fetched stretch he may be. Look at his resume for christ sake.

I can think of 10 I'd have above Adamek at this stage. He's in the mid teens for me. Guy is doing well, if he racked up a few more solid victories, I'm thinking somebody like Guillermo Jones would do wonders for him.

This was inevitable tonight. Banks looked terrible in his last fight against the Italian. No stamina.

 

He needs to face Dawson again, and unify another belt the best option would be Maccaraneli in the UK. It would let some of his Polish fans see him aswell

 

Top 15 yes, not top ten. Thrashed by Dawson, beats hugely overrated Cunningham JUST and then beats Banks.
Banks who barely got past Rossito and had not beaten anyone of any note at all.

Adameks best opponents are Briggs, Dawson, Bell and Cunningham.

Of those he won one convincingly with a great stoppage of Bell. The others are two MD wins over Briggs, one SD win over Cunningham and a total whipping at the hands of Dawson.

That is not a hugely convincing set of performances at the highest level. But the fact is, the wins are wins and he is two weight champ and deserves to be top 15 p4p.

Allan Green was outclassed by Miranda, lost pretty much every round, dropped Miranda but was dropped himself twice and was on the verge of collapse in the last round. Fight would have been stopped had it been a 12 rounder.

Adamek was outclassed in a way that he lost like 8 out of the first 9 rounds and couldnt get to Dawson but he dropped Dawson in the end and was stalking him and searching for the knockout till the final bell, actually won 3 round in that fight.

 

He isnt top 10 but should be just outside top 10 like at #12. 1 good win now against a top contender and he should be concidered top 10.

The sad thing is that had he beaten someone like Jones, Tito, Hops he would be top 10 but he is fighting young, udefeated sometimes untested guys so he doesnt get as much credit.

He is a very good champion and boxer, but he is not the No 12 in the world P4P

At the moment he is the CW champ by default, he never beat the man Haye (not Adameks fault).

He needs to unify the belts, then rematch and beat Dawson to get considered

 

Some people dont even consider Hatton to be top 10 P4P so I am not surprised about Adamek not being included. Top ten P4P list is just a way of fans listing fighters they particularly like and less so about who really deserves to be there on merit.

Look I'm not a hater..... This is just an unbiased view, and I also get annoyed that Europeans don't get the respect they deserve yet when an American has one good win (Mosley) he gets put into the top 6 even just a few months before he was considered a shot fighter.

At the moment Tomasz is the MAN at CW by default, and only has one belt that he has defended only once. His short reign as LHW belt holder helps him though.

Alot of ppl don't consider Dawson top 15 and he beat Tomasz easily.

 

I tell you here now, that if Williams would beat Wright and then being KOed by Abraham I would not put AA into the top 10 p4p...

 

Wlad should be on there before Adamek.
