What were his amateur accomplishments? How has he meen matched his first few years? Is his near 100% KO ratio misleading or is he as destructive as he looks on paper, forcing normally stern and iron chinned fighters like Juan Ruiz & German Meraz to retire. Love some information on him, he's one of the boxing's seeming 25 and younger whiz kids, so to speak, and I'm legitimately curious what I can realistically expect to see against Escandon this weekend...

He got clipped when he was pulling out with a right hook, but he bounced back up fairly quickly, he seemed a little shook up, but nothing too worrying, he recovered very well. It was similar to the Gvozdyk-Karpency KD.
He shows flashes of it, but stylistically he's far more akin to GGG than The Nail. He's one of my favorite prospects of the moment.
At 17 years old he won a silver medal in the World Amateur Championships, then in 2012 he won a silver medal in the London Olympics after losing a close fight against Robeisy Ramirez from Cuba. He has good power, technique and a brutal body attack, he is a strong player imo in the weight class.
He didn't look that kid in the video you posted. Wasn't that guy a journeyman too? Only up to round 3 though.
I can't help but imagine tonight's fight is going to look something like this, except when Tug lands a bomb and hurts Escandon he isn't going to blow his chance like Robin Hood did... This content is protected
The tug king of Thailand? *Ah, I see, he's actually Mongolian. Nevertheless, he really did a job on Gemino. I mean, he really pulled it out in the end. He showed with that fight that he's willing to mix it up in the trenches and not afraid to get his hands dirty.
