i rather see floyd Mosley or floyd cotto then floyd hatton at this moment

let hatton first fight a guy like judah judah, then we can see if he deserves to be in the ring with floyd

Hatton is clearly not going to fight Mayweather - he wouldn't even fight Witter so I don't see how people expect him to fight Floyd.

I thought Warren had accepted a 5m offer for a fight in Copenhagen from Kessler's people but Warren wanted a fight in September and not November. Now we hear HBO can't do September so why not November in Copenhagen?

Calzaghe - Kessler is not likely kessler is quite scared that Calzaghe is ready to fight

Mayweather - Hatton should be on if Hatton wants it

:patsch both fighters are well up for this bout, first it was the moronic twat twins warren and palle, now they have agreed buy are pricing themselves out of a deal with hbo, nothing to do with the boxers.

It was reported in the News Of The World that because the Kessler fight looks less likely, Joe will face Antonio Tarver later this year instead.

but i thought joe had to fight in september? they get out of the kessler fight because he has to fight in september and then they don't fight in september anyway?. this has to be a joke. Tarver was badly beat up by Hopkins, no one wants to see Calzaghe vs Tarver

Given that both of these guys are Warren's two best earners and their prospective opponents are solid chances to win... i dont think either of them will be the next fight for each one. Maybe one or the other, but not both.

Whatever else happens, whatever excuses are offered (including Kessler is deceased), if Kessler-Calzaghe doesn't happen, the fault is 101% with the Kesslere camp.

This is a strange conclusion. The information we get at this moment is that Warren and Palle has agreed!! But now they can´t get the money to fit with HBO. In fact it is Warren and not Palle that is doing the negotiations with HBO. As far as I can understand the plan is to stage the fight end of September and not in Denmark.

The Calzaghe camp agreed to the terms put by the Kessler camp.

The ball is now in Kessler's camp.

After the promoters have given each other offers the last developments are the following:

    [...]
    6. Palle offers Warren 5 mill to fight in Copenhagen.
    7. Warren says yes, but wants more.
    8. Palle gives him everything he wants (5.5 mill net).
    9. Warren finds out that he prefers the fight in Wales after all.
    10. Palle talks to Kessler, and he says "no problem as long as the money is right".
    11. The magic thing happens and they agree on a contract.
    12. Everyone is happy and Palle goes on holiday because the contract is finished and all that is left is for Warren to negociate with the HBO about time and money.
    13. Apparently the negotiations between Warren and the HBO are challenging.

In todays news Palle is interviewed from his retreat and he comments:
"We have nothing more to do with this. Everything is done, now all that is left is for Warren to get an agreement with HBO. I do not know Warren's economic demands from HBO but without an agreement between them the fight can not happen."

    Fingers crossed.
