So I've pretty much stopped following this debacle as religiously as I had after the midnight deadline thing Arum did. But I want to refresh my memory. During the first negotiations PBF wanted USADA testing up to the fight randomly. He eventually relented and was willing to push it out to 14 days but Arum said **** it and killed it. Right? I remember distinctly reading a Yahoo! article referring to Arum not even going back to Pac with that information.

Then the Floyd Shane fight happens. Floyd dominates and basically says, "All roads lead to mayweather" and went back to testing up to the day of the fight. He fought the tougher opponent and had public opinion with him for the first time since this started. Can we all agree on that?

Now here's where things get a little murky for me. the day after that fight or the night of, I remember a release on Pac's site saying he was down to do any and all testing. But then that got taken down or refuted days after. Am I missing something here?

After that, the negotiations were said to have started again and both sides were to shut up. From here Arum is periodically talking about the negotiations. He's saying they're going well and close (when he shouldn't have). Now during this time, was there an HBO rep who was acting as a negotiator for Floyd that confirmed negotiations were taking place and progressing? Also, did Pac come out and say he would agree to testing before this whole arbitrary deadline was given? It was my assumption that it wasn't.

Initially, the drug testing was gonna be the standard NSAC drug testing. Which is a post-fight urine test.

Then, Floyd asked to have the drug testing done by the USADA along some specific guidelines, which he claimed were Olympic style but in fact are not what is applied at the olympics. (at the olympics, they do random urine tests before the fights and the blood tests after the fight, never right before the fight).

Pac said he would agree to 3 scheduled blood tests, one before his training camp, one during, and one after the fight. And he also agreed to random urine testing at any time, throughout the entire training camp, and after the fight.

Floyd said no. Then Floyd said that Pac had given a blood sample before the Hatton fight, 14 days out, so Pac should concede to random blood testing with a 14 day cutoff date.

Then it turned out that Pac had actually given a blood sample 24 days before the Hatton fight, not 14. So they said that in that case, they would agree to random blood testing with a 24 day cutoff date, and random urine testing throughout training camp. With another blood and urine tset right after the fight.

Floyd said 14 days or no fight.

    So Pac fought Clottey.

    Then Floyd fought Mosley.

before the Mosley fight, Floyd publicly stated he would no longer compromise to a 14 day cutoff date.

Pac said that to help make the fight happen, he was willing to compromise further and accept 14 days.

Floyd said that there had been no negotiations.

Ross Greenburg confirmed that there had been.

Floyd said he lost his urge and went on vacation.

Actually it was before the Mosley fight that floyd said he would not offer the cut off date. Please don't avoid facts.

Are you sure that is true about the Olympic blood testing? Its just I remember reading about how Usain Bolt and other sprinters were getting their blood taken frequently before and during the olympics.
