in regards to the testing? Floyd wants random blood and urine testing with no cut-off....proposed USADA does it (could potentially be swayed to not have to use USADA, but won't budge on the other terms) Arum has finally agreed to this, but doesn't want USADA. He wants WADA. 1. Now, from what I gather, WADA is the oversight for groups like USADA. Is this correct? 2. USADA follows all WADA protocol, and uses WADA approved labs. Is this correct. Also, has Arum proposed another org to administer the tests? Personally, I don't care who administers the tests, as long as the fight gets made....but I just don't understand what Arum's stance is. It sounds like double talk to me. Please clear this up intelligently....I am listening...no name calling, or misdirection needed in this thread.
I rememeber Arum expressing concerns about USADA even during the first negotiations. What I'm feeling is, he has something personal against Travis Tygart, who was too outspoken about why pro boxing needs his company, kind of sounded to me like he was into this whole thing for personal gain.
again, asking for informed replies. This is exactly the type of thing I don't care about. I don't care if Arum doesn't like Tygart. I don't care if Arum makes people think that somehow Floyd Mayweather diabolically controls USADA. What does Arum want? And has he proposed an actual solution, or is he just putting up road blocks while trying to sound like he is compromising?
If you want direct answers, nobody can tell you that other than Arum himself. My response is based on information that I've read from months of following this issue just like everyone else here.
That why I asked about informed answers...and yes, people do know, better than I, the ins and outs of WADA, USADA, their working relationship, and how they handle testing. That is why I asked very specific questions in the OP.
Who, Arum or Tygart? Be more specific. Arum is definitely in it for the personal gain. If it don't make him the most money then it don't make sense. That's why he uses his stable for Pac opponents.
