Neither fighters are at fault really. Mayweather wants stricter drug testing, Pacquiao doesn't want his blood taken close to the fight. That's the only disagreement here.

If Mayweather isn't going to give Pacquaio any slack on the issue, then I'd say he's at fault for keeping the fight from being made.

No one blows this out of proportion because Floyd is black they blow it out of proportion because these are two of boxing's biggest stars !!

I love the conveient excuse that the reason Floyd's bull**** gets blown up is because of his race ..No let me spare you that crap its because he's a whiny insecure loud mouth wanna b thug !! Who is a borderline DIVA !!!

were talking about a blood test here... something you do on a routine basis when you go to see the doctor... what is the problem?

The problem is Pacquaio doesn't like getting blood taken close to a fight, he feels that it weakens him.

And it not one blood test. It's anywhere from 5-7 of them from what I've read. They want some kind of cutoff window so that his blood is not taken a day or two from the fight.

so lets say they both are taking the test @ the same exact time.... which im under the impression they are...

would that still be a problem?

If Manny's blood is being taken a day or two from the fight, then yes it's a problem (according to him and Freddy Roach).

I don't think it's much to ask for a 3-5 day window before the fight. From what I understand, that's what they're working on right now.

Arum wants the Nevada Commission to handle all of the random testing.

my whole point is like.... they will both be doing the testing at the same exact time.... you feel me?

like were not talking about just manny doing the testing.. or the testing occuring at different times...

whatever physical effects it will have on pacquiao... it will have on may as well...

Yeah I know, I don't disagree with you. I wish Manny would just do the testing as well, but the fact is he doesn't like getting his blood drawn near a fight. He has some stigma about that.

I wouldn't worry about it. They'll come to some kind of agreement and the fight will get signed.

Of course they do. You just proved his point. Exactly how is Mayweather a wanna be thug as you suggested? The guy carries a fanny pac around sometimes. I've never seen a thug with a fanny pac before. You call him a thug because he's black. I could take you to my old neighborhood if you want to see real thugs. Any black person or people that know actual black people would know Floyd is no thug.

Pac fans are gonna blame Mayweather, Floyd fans will blame Pac. Your not gonna get any unbiased views on a boxing forum.

I think it was ridiculous for Floyd to make these demands for a 3rd party drug testing agency to come in. Pac probably felt really insulted and I can't really blame him. If you were in his shoes, you might have done the same thing. Fighters have big ego's.
