It was Floyd who made Khan and Maidana contenders, put up a poll and then chose to fight the guy who lost the poll, lost in the ring to the other guy in the poll and who many believe is the easier opponent of the two.

 

Who gives a crap who deserves it you ******. I don't like to stay awake till 3 am to watch a big one sided beat down of maidana but then at the end feel happy and content because he deserved the fight. I want to see a good fight I don't care who deserves it

 

It's like saying what has cotto done recently to deserve a shot at Martinez? Not much but we know he'll make it a good fight because of his style

 

That's exactly it right there. Khan thinks that he deserves paydays for avenging his losses and dominating the likes of Pacquiao(knocked him down 3 times), Martinez, Alexander, Marquez and Matthysse on twitter.

 

Khan can't be compared to Cotto, ever!. Cotto is leagues above Khan in terms of accomplishments, experience, public appreciation/recognition, ability and record.

 

Khan will offer a "good fight"? It would have been a disgrace to the sport for Mayweather to pick a clown who has done nothing in the past year but win twitter challenges.

Yeah, that post was comical and hard to get over. A joke like Khan should never ever be compared to Cotto. Cotto is actually good enough for the middleweight champion to challenge him rather than the other way around for the payday. Khan is the one begging here(on twitter of course).

He has been fighting in the ring, something Khan doesn't need to considering his twitter success. In his last five fights Cotto fought the likes of Mayweather, Trout, Concreto, Mayorga and Foreman. During his fights he became the WBA Light Middleweight champion. Now compare that to going life and death with Diaz(who was moved down in weight), beating a severely undersized Molina who has no power(Khan's favorite opponents), getting sparked against Garcia and avenging losses on twitter.

 

its not about good enough. Were talking about what he has done recently. Khan is good enough on any given night to beat most fighters at WW but your discrediting him based on his recent accomplishments so stop bieng hyprocitical and stick to recent accomplishments with cotto too
