He is fast, sometimes looks really good, dumber than a bag of hammers.

He holds way too much (or runs) so I expect a real snoozer against Amir. He is capable of upsetting good fighters and causing problems, but he seldom fights a smart fight.

Edit: watch the Maidana, Lucas and the Bradley fights. That will give you a good idea of what he is about.

Thanks I appreciate it...I saw him in a fight against a
Nobody and he looked strong and fast but then again that was against a
Nobody lol but maybe his speed will offset khan a lil bit and make it interesting

I'd say underrated good speed, decent power, needs a better corner and he could reach the next level, the guy gets a lot of disrespect due to the Bradley quit job and close fights with Matthysse. Agree with him being a bit dim I'd say check out Maidana, Matthysse, & Bailey fights

he chooses speed over power. Rarely ever sits on his punches. Maybe he will with Khan given the questions regarding Khans chin.. and in that case, yes he could hurt him.

Good boxer/puncher for 140lbs... great amateur career and strong fundamentals. Good speed and chin. Has a solid jab & puts together punches well. Definitely has enough power for stoppage but will most likely just whoop you for 12 rounds... Alexander UD over Khan....

Kevin Cunningham is a decent trainer and a knowledgeable boxing guy. But he's also a goofball.....

Solid fighter . Decent speed . Arguably the best Chin in the WW division . Hard to look good against . Hes difficult to hit at times .

The guy is a legit threat .

His best performance is his stoppage win against Juan Urango a fighter who never been close to being stopped until running into Alexander .

Southpaw with a boxer/puncher style. Good speed, good power, likes to impose those 2 things in particular on his opponents, athletic type fighter. When the fight is taken to him on the inside, his punch output drops dramatically, is taken out his comfort zone, tho he will unleash powerful hooks in short bursts, but sacrifices consistency. His punch of choice is a straight left down the pipe or left uppercut. Defense is basically his footwork, doesn't use much head, body movement, or parrying. Has improved slightly since his loss to Porter, he seemed to pace himself abit more vs Soto Karass. His weakness tends to be defensively and focusing once his opponent starts winning rounds. Has trouble getting momentum back once his opponent starts gaining it. Former 140 titleholder, powerful in that division, still strong at 147, tho obviously not as strong as he was at 140. A wildcard at 147, just like Khan. Not exactly an elite at 147.

Worthwhile checking out the Kotelnik fight. Devon is good, but not that good.

The Matthysse fight also coulda gone either way, with most probably leaning towards Lucas.

Of course you gotta watch the fights and draw your own conclusions but IMO Alexander ain't quite as good as advertised. As some have pointed out he seems to lack consistency, or is maybe just troubled by certain styles.
