I missed this fight and its not on youtube cant find it anywhere. I see the scores were kind of close though. Did Ola has a case for winning? How did the fight go? Did huck deserve his win?

Difference in the fight was that Ofalobi was not aggressive enough, he
got outworked in the rounds where he went into that defensive shell, he
thinks its smart to show how good his defence is and play to the crowd but
whilst you are slipping and not countering, you are being outworked, when
Ola did not go into that shell he was stil not aggressive enough, he would peckaway with jabs to the body and head and even though Huck was fighting in spurts, he was throwing the harder shots, but most importantly he was throwing in combination where as Ola was throwing one punch at a time.

Ofalobi did manage to stagger Huck in the 5th.

    BTW i had it..........

3 round to Ola, 1 even, 8 rounds to Huck, Ola was simply not active enough.

O right so Huck deserved it. I just saw one of the judges had it 115-113 to huck and wondered was it a hometown decision. Ola seems to have alot of talent

Huck definitely deserved it, Huck like Ola would not do a lot either, but he fought in spurts and pinched rounds by landing his hard flurries, he was more active than Ola for most of the fight.

Ola was doing what he did in the Enzo fight, before the KO, standing around and trying to make Huck miss but not countering very often.

Afolabi looked like an sparringspartner at times. As if he would try to not make his opponent look bad. He could have won but he just lacks the right mindset it seems.

Agree, he deffo has that sparring partner mentality, its as though he is playing in there at times rather than taking a chance to win.

I felt he would of learned something from the Enzo fight, that he cant just stand around showing off his D, thats why i picked him to beat Huck, i thought he would improve that side of his game this time around but nope.

Na, Afolabi is more like a less active James Toney

Yes, no transition from defense to offense.

Exactly, the only difference being that Huck, despite not being technically clean or particularly intelligent, is much better than Enzo. Marco, for all his shortcomings, is very physically gifted.

Id agree, Huck is awkwardly effective at what he does, sure he lost to Cunningham but that was a close fight imo, it proved to me if he can hang with someone as skilled as Cunningham and make it a relatively close/competitive fight, there must be more to him than a heart on the sleeve tough guy.

He is pretty physically strong yeah.
