Can someone tell me why Vitali avoided/is avoiding these fighters?

    As I'm sitting here at my friend's house, we got to talking about Vitali the boxer. He claims Vitali never avoided anyone, I say he is a liar.

    I have not been the biggest fan of Vitali. BUT, I do want to give every boxer a fair shake. So hopefully some smart Vitali fans can clarify all this for me.


    Why did Vitali duck all these fighters during the following time periods?
    Mike Tyson 2000-2001
    Vitali Klitschko was a champion and a 30+ fight veteran in 2000-2001.
    Mike Tyson, despite being shot and pass it, expressed big interest in fighting either Vitali or Wladimir around that time. It's just strange how Vitali avoided Mike, when Mike was a 5'10 past prime fighter

    Lennox Lewis 2000-2001.
    This was Lewis still in his prime, why did he not push for a Lennox fight? Lewis was very open to facing either Grant or Vitali as his title defense. I can link documents and articles that confirm this. Why did Vitali not want to take the 20-80 split and fight Lewis in 2000?
    Also Wladimir fought on Lewis undercards for a long time, so they Brothers had every chance to set up meetings.


    Evander Holyfield 2001-2004.
    Let's be honest here, Holyfield would have fought anybody for 500 dollars and a meal ticket. If Vitali so much as offer 500,000, it would have been a done deal. Surely a Prime Vitali was not scared of a fast becoming shot Evander?


    Chris Byrd Rematch.

    A Great champion should avenge every defeat he had, not let his relatives avenge it for them.



    David Tua. 2000-2004
    Tua is known to have pushed for a fight against either Kbro, it is well documented.



    Hasin Rahman. 2004-2005

    Vitali retired and avoided Rahman FOUR TIMES in one year. Four different excuses does not slide well by me. No Sir.


    Nickali Valvuv.
    They offered the 7 foot tall giant a slave contract, nobody in his right mind would have said yes to that. Why didn't Vitali give an offer of more then a 10-90 split? David Haye had to take care of this mess.


    DAVID HAYE- Current.
    This is by far the biggest fight in the HW Division. Yet he is fighting Manuel Charr.


    Evandre Holyfield- Current

    It's even on the front page of ESB. Old Man Rivers is yet again calling out Vitali. Just do it. Vitali.

    David Haye - Could have been fighting instead of Charr

    Vitali is too busy filling out his ATG resume against such world class opponents at Featherfists Adamek, Manuel Charr, and Dereck Chisora. Also formed an alliance to never risk a loss by facing the champion in the division.

    VITALI HAS BEEN DUCKING THE CHAMPION FOR 4 YEARS. WHY DO FANS IGNORE THIS?

    Tua - is full of **** and still calls them out. Seem to remember him being offered a fight within the last two years and he pussied out.

    Rahman - not cool but the operations Vitali had after should show that he was legit (unless he was so scared of the rock he'd rather have surgery)

    SNV - Don King was never gonna give away his last Heavyweight belt to one of the men who tore the heart out of his business.

    Haye - I'd like to see this fight. Don't think Vitali is necessarily ducking Haye. I think this is more ego's and nothing else. Although I'd change my tune if Vitali reitres without fighting him or being voted into political office.

    You remembered wrong. Tua has been financially raped by legal battles and now lives out of his gym, I doubt he would have turned down a big paycheck against either Klitschkos.

    was tyson not lined up to fight vitali bu lost to williams?? just sayin..

    did byrd not move on after beating vitali (even though vitali was out for a while with injurys after the fght)?? just sayin...

    did valuev not turn down to fight both brothers over his carrer?? just sayin...

    In 2000 Vitali got beaten by Byrd. for a couple of years after that he was in no position to call out anyone.

    Modern Evander Holyfield...really. You want to see Evander murdered in the ring??

    Im also sure that Vitali couldnt care less that him being injured and not fighting Rahman does not "slide" well with you.

    Both klitschkos tried getting fights with Tyson. I remember reading this in the ring mag .
