I never liked Sugar's approach. When he was asked if Usyk was the biggest fight of Fury's career, he said no, that it was just another fight. Really poor IMO.

Not much a fan or really a fan of the whole Kronk back and forwards in a straight line either.

He's given Fury a decent uppercut though

and the jab was brilliant in the 2nd Wilder fight but the elbows mean that has now gone.

rematch is who can get up on the night and who is physically more available.

    Excellent video as always.

I agree he needed to give Fury a sense of urgency. If anything it would have been better to just have Andy Lee in there. Everyone else was being useless with too many voices in the corner.

For the second fight only the trainer should be talking. Kick John out if you have to, he doesn't need to be there.

He can! But it’s futile. Usyk will rise to the occasion again.

He's clearly the worst trainer Fury ever had. He makes Davison look like a genius.

If people followed the change to 'Kronk style' carefully, they'd also notice it was Andy Lee always working with Fury on his punching in the clips and clearly doing a lot of the technical work. So even what people want to give Hill credit for is likely Lee doing it, since Lee was actually a high-level fighter and knows more.

All you have to know about Hill is he told Fury the MMA fighter wasn't a threat and that they'd land a RH and go home early. That's from his quotes before the fight. That's really all you have to know about this hustler. Anybody who follows boxing and MMA and had seen that opponent in with Miocic knew that he had real power, could box a bit and couldn't be played around with. Keep in mind that circus fight was before the most important fight of Fury's life too. The incompetence is truly staggering.

    Here's Hill's record with Fury:

Wilder II - Fury gets the stoppage (late attrition stoppage), but still hit with two big RH's in early rounds, unlike first fight where none landed until second half. Fury admits he was lucky he took those shots, said it was the weight, but more likely they weren't perfect hits and if they were he'd be on the floor.

Wilder III - Fury gets dropped heavily twice and CTE from Wilder.

Whyte - was shot to bits.

MMA Fighter - Fury gets dropped, humiliated, beat up and some more CTE, can't do any real damage.

Usyk I - Fury gets dropped by Usyk who couldn't even drop AJ in two fights, some more CTE, can't drop Usyk.

So basically Fury has no more power than he had when he KO'd Cunningham but way more brain damage.

Blind hatred calling Whyte shot, he was the mandatory WBC contender with a good resume and it was an excellent1 punch knockout of Whyte.,

The freak knockout to over the Hill povetkin was quickly corrected by Whyte, Povetkin lost every single round in both fights to Whyte inbetween the savage uppercut.

You've missed Chisora off the list, the quickest stoppage in their 3 encounters.

After that, Fury looked definitively less powerful against Ngannou and Usyk admittedly.

Boy seeing Emanual in the corner with Lewis against Tyson bring back the memories. He was a fantastic trainer who recognized that Mike Tyson was ready to go and ripped his fighter for not getting him outta there. Some corner men are worth their weight in gold.

I think the strategy in the second Wilder fight worked perfectly. If Fury had tried to box like he did in fight 1, he could have ended up being knocked down again. There is no way for a man of Fury's size to completely avoid Wilders right hand, whether he is boxing on the front foot or on the back foot.

By boxing on the front foot vs Wilder, Fury put Wilder in an uncomfortable and unfamiliar position, drained his energy and did lots of damage that took away his power. Fury 2 was the least risky strategy IMO. Had Fury tried to replicate fight 1 back foot boxing, he might have been ko'd.

Fury - Wilder 3- again, Fury was complacent. He should have kept his guard up. Yes, he got caught twice but he also got caught twice in the first fight. Fury was very sloppy and complacent here.

Agree with the Nnganou and Usyk fights though. Really poor from Sugar Hill. The guy is no Manny Steward. Not even close.

Belly might be able to turn it around against this old, slower past prime version of Usyk. However, there's only one Manny Steward

Fury claimed to adopt sugars kronk style etc but they were just hiding the fact his legs were shot and couldn’t rely on them to get out the way especially for 12 rounds he had no choice but to take some punches to land as lost his elusiveness

Sugar Hill, has done nothing of note for Team Fury since the Wilder wins ! This so called Kronk style which Fury does not even have the power to pull off has made him far more hittable and also at the neglect of his natural Attributes .

Not that I'm watching closely but I haven't noticed anything special Hill did for him.
