    My thoughts:

Fury's tactics for Wilder 2 were spot on (hence it was his easiest fight with Wilder, by far) but he hired Hill and Lee because he wanted to pursue an aggressive strategy, they didn't make him do so. Also, he only had a 10 week training camp with them prior to Wilder 2, so it's doubtful how much they taught the 31 year old champion in that time.

I don't blame them for Fury being pudgy and less motivated for Wilder 3, Fury is responsible for his condition and as you've mentioned he didn't seem to even want a trilogy. Still, he won Wilder 2 and 3 by stoppage, having suffered 2 KD's and drawn the first trying to backfoot it for 12 rounds on foreign soil as the challenger against a KO artist.

Hill's tactics for Wilder worked better than Davison's, plus Davison presided over the Wallin fight where he didn't even realise Fury had been cut by a punch (thought it was a clash of heads) for about 6 rounds. He also wasn't saying "you can't take this guy lightly" as far as I remember and Fury was talking pre-fight about how it would be a cakewalk, much like the Schwarz fight.

Fury was sub-265 lbs for Whyte and boxed well on the backfoot, can't accuse Hill of giving him bum tactics there. Chisora 3 was what it was, Fury didn't come in too fat or take much head damage. He was never going to be motivated for Chisora 3, which was always his idea (Fury talked about a Chisora trilogy immediately after beating him the 2nd time).

His condition for Ngannou was atrocious but again, Fury wanted that clown fight and didn't take it seriously. Though that may have been partly Hill's fault given what he was apparently saying in interviews "land the right hand and go home".

Fury boxed Usyk on the backfoot at 262 lbs, lighter than he was for Schwarz under Davison 5 years prior. Given that Fury's best backfoot performance was in 2015 and his best frontfoot was in 2020, if anything Fury should have been more "Kronk".

Fury's weight has generally been higher under Hill but this is significantly because 1. he's older 2. less motivated at this stage of his career. The only fight he was calculatedly heavier for was Wilder 2, he was in the 260's for Whyte, Chisora 3 and Usyk.

I don't think Hill is a good trainer for Fury and gassing Fury's ego up is certainly counterproductive but Fury has to take the vast majority of the blame for his inconsistency. The fact that Hill was one of three voices in the corner for Usyk indicates that he doesn't have that much influence now.

I don't think Hill is capable of having an inner Emanuel. He doesn't possess the knowledge

I think Fury will be self motivated enough to know what to do.

His knee jerk hyperbole answer was he's going to go after Usyk but more recently and as we get closer to the fight he knows it's repeat what he did before without the antic and more focus and Usyk has to repeat what he did with a little more defensive smarts. Ultimately Usyk took the fight to Fury knowing it was the best fight regardless of the BIG risk involved and it was looking extremely rough in that mid fight because of that but then Fury slowed which probably was part of Usyk's plan and it came together very well. If Fury didn't slow that fight would have turned into a cake walk. Rounds 1 & 2 interest me greatly for the rematch. How hard will each fight for them? Can Fury find his range early and put the effort to snag them. I think he should go balls to the wall for 6 rounds laser focus then cruise carefully. Usyk might be a little more willing to give them up expecting the late fight to come to him.
