Well he has two things that give him a chance: 1. Explosive, two fisted power. 2. Taylor coming in completely drained. As superior as Taylor is, this can be a recipe for an upset. I’m still heavily favoring Taylor though, dude has almost zero holes in his game when he’s at 100%.
Taylor hasn't fought in 16 months. He looked like crap last time out. He's become very injury prone. He's fighting in Teofimo's backyard. It's his first fight with a new trainer. And he obviously hasn't had to make 140 in 16 months. Teofimo is a piece of crap but he is very talented. He's very athletic, explosive, fast, possesses knockout power in both hands, and he has good skills. Not saying I'm picking him to win but make no mistake this is a dangerous fight for both.
Hes going to have to put on the best performance of his career if hes going to pull it off against Taylor. If hes not 100% focused and prepared, he'll lose this fight.
Surprisingly cogent and coherent post. I agree 100%. I see it as 50/50 but at the moment Vegas has Taylor as favorite at -175 or a 64% implied win probability. We'll see if those odds move one way or the other by Saturday night.
No. Just watched the pre fight press conference, he went from being normal to losing his **** and talking random attempted motivational comments to himself within like 5 minutes. At this rate we will be lucky if he even attends the main event, probably have a mental breakdown before fight night
Regis Prograis > Teofimo Lopez Only way Taylor loses is if he comes in drained to **** (which is probably the expectation of Lopez's team)
It wouldn't be much of a shock. Taylor is only a very very small betting favorite. This wouldn't be Tyson-Douglas if Teo wins by KO.
