I've just caught up with last nights fight.

We all know that BoxNation were setting the scene for an Enzo v Cleverly matchup.

After last nights performance it was refreshing to hear the commentary team pleading for Enzo to retire. If VVarren was to do the unthinkable and book the fight. Can the board intervene?

We all make throw away comments like "X is shot" "X is a bum" etc. however in Enzo's case, the first comment rings true. he's a nice guy and nobody wants to see him get hurt.

I hope for his own good the board intervene and say enough is enough. Enzo can still make a decent living commentating.

    Thoughts?

For getting put down and wobbled? No chance.

We know there is money to be made from an Enzo Clev fight.

No way is there enough money in it for the board to let it happen. I'm not exaggerating when I say I fear for Enzo's life.

They will allow it to happen, i agree i worry about him to. I worry about all fighters especially fighters who have poor punch resistance.

They won't pull his license, not a chance IMO. He won the fight and i've seen likes of Danny Williams who can't even stand properly in a ring fight here against Chisora. That was embarrassing...

Enzo is OK at the standard he's fighting at, Brit title, so the Board would have a hard time revoking his licence. I reckon its more likely that the Board refuses to allow individual fights when they think Enzo has stepped up from that level....even thats not THAT likely.

  7. They won't pull his licence, unfortunately.

At the end of the day, there are a lot of fighters out there that are easily inferior to Enzo, and as such, he probably ought to be allowed to carry on.

The problem is the level at which he is wanting to operate, a journeyman nearly belted him into next week last night, so other than fighting fringe domestic contenders there's little place for him to go.

That said, I can see them making the Clev fight, the one ''saving grace'' of BN is that no ****er will have seen it.

For what? Getting knocked down and wobbled?

If he's medically fit to box then they won't revoke his licence. Slight overreaction I think.

Best we can hope for is if Frank tries to make Clev/Enzo the Board and/or the WBO refuse to sanction it.

The BBB of C would get sued senseless if they tried. ****** has in the past nearly ruined them, ditto Watson, so they are not going to risk more heavy damages and expenses in a Court case.

    This.

You can't remove a mans right to earn living because he isn't world class anymore.

He should retire and I hope he does but if he passes his medical he has as much right to box as anyone.
