    Hey Guys

Since we have finally reached the end of the super six tournament in the super middleweight division, I have been looking back on all the showtime fightcamp360 episodes and my favourite fights. This tournament truly elevated each fighter involved all are very known within boxing at this point. Also the tournament placed the super middleweights amongst the other most popular divisions i.e. light welter weight and welter weight. Although the time scale was very long between fights.

I would like to know if you would like to see a tournament format like this again and in what division. I personally would like to see this occur in the light heavyweight division.

Anyway let me know what you think guys.

A good one would have been the 140 division:

    Khan
    Bradley
    Alexander
    Maidana
    Peterson
    Judah/Morales or one other.

    no.
2 years, people lose interest...fighters look for reasons to drop out yet end up fighting elsewhere..too much bitching on locations...too many spoiled fighters , i doubt uts ever done again

Depends on the promoters. Cash cows, or fighters that have the potential to become cash cows, are unlikely to be risked in demanding competitions like the Super Six. They run on for a very long time, and take alot out of the fighters.

4-man tournaments are more feasible, if you ask me. It would be great if more divisions gave it a go.

It absolutely can, and I think it should. Yes, there were problems with this Super 6, but there's no question it was an innovative approach and was no doubt gonna come with some shortcomings. There have been countless threads on how to improve the format, so I won't dwell on that aside from the fact that venues, purses, judges, etc... should all be agreed on upon signing of the first contracts to enter the tournament.

I'd love to see it done again, in almost any division. Iron out some of the little things & let's get another one going. I have no problem with a 6-man tourney either, I think it's better than the 4-man bantamweight one they did this year.

For the casual fan, not really.
    For the die hards, absolutely.

It can but they will have too look at all the mistakes.
One mistake was signing a two fight deal with Green. If it had only been one then Froch Abraham winner would have taken on Ward who got two points because Dirrell withdrew.

Five fights in two years is good. Ward and Froch have had 4 so far. Abraham had four.
The fact is that we would never have gotten all these match ups if there was no tournament.

It can be done, just try to condense the time frame, maybe work in (bigger?) penalties for pulling out of fights or delaying.

It would be much better for boxing than all these PPV bullshits that are overblown these days. Who cares about PPV in AMerica when everybody is watching via the internet around the world.

    nah

there are not many characters like Froch who absolutely believe they are the best and will see a tournament like this through to the end!!

halfway through people like Direll and Kessler realised wait a minute with this consistent level of high opposition i may end the tournament with 3 losses on my perfect record and mess up marketability for the rest of his career... less than a year ago Kessler was going blind and Direll had brain damage... now both are fighting
