Take away the Klitsckos and the Eastern Europeans suck. Chagaev is average. Povetkin only beat Eddie ****ing Chambers because he outworked him but was getting schooled in the early half of the fight and who else err Valuev lol?

There will be another American champion. No doubt in my mind. Probably when the Klits retire, boxing at heavyweight will have reached its lowest talent level ever and I dont doubt winning a strap wll be insanely easy.

Like I said if Eastern euros are so good at boxing, why isnt it transfering at the lower weights why did Andre Dirrell box circles around Abraham like he was caught in mud? Why couldnt adamek beat Chad Dawson? Why does Sturm hide in Germany?

Of course they can, life is full of ups and downs and so are boxing divisions, have been in the past and will be in the future at times too, but i will admit this batch of american heavys recently is particularly down!!

Its a myth that Eastern Euro fighters would have dominated if they were allowed to turn pro. The young American fighters often took part in the Olympics were eastern euro fighter were allowed to compete often with more experince. Patterson, Rademacher, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, the Spinks brothers, Tillman, Tyrell Briggs all won gold medals and Holyfield could have but got a DQ and only won bronze and Bowe got a silver medal. No doubt eastern euro fighters would have added to the strength of a division but the top American fighters would still have been at or near the top.

Why have the top 7 american fighters combined had less fights than ricky hatton (uk) alone outside the usa?

Atleast I got to live to see my countries time. When you were born your country was an insignificant island, with no major accomplishments in sports, and when you die, your country will still be an insignficant island with no accomplishments in sports.

The heavy weight division and boxing in general need to re-gain popularity in the US. More excittement is needed in general and hopefully it starts to happen. Alot of people don`t follow boxing at all in North America not sure what else can be done to bring it back.
