Only seen a bit of him on youtube. He was clattering this skinny bloke about a bit and pretty much landing at will. Seems pretty quick but I had the feeling if Froch had've been landing those blows the guy would have been flattened sharpish. His records got a few KO's on it but the better the opposition the more UD's seem to come in. With Froch's chin is the best Pascal can hope for a UD as well, and whats his chin like by the way?
I don't think he is a puncher. He is a boxer, who will try to box, staying away from Froch's punch and trying to win a decision. But, just because he's no puncher and Froch has an iron chin, it doesn't mean it would be impossible to see Pascal win a TKO, due to Froch's poor defence and relative lack of boxing skill. Still, chances are Froch KTFO's him, imo.
Yep. Pascal is pretty decent and an ok boxer. I expect Froch to win and in some fashion. This fight is very good for Froch, I did not want to see him jumping straight in with a top SW.
Pascal was a world class amateur, thats his pedigree... oh, but so was froch and he hits harder and has a better chin
Totally mucka. I'm getting a nose bleed at the mo, 1 draw and 7 straight wins, heady days.........................
Pascal has good power, but not at Froch's level. Pascal's jab is quite sharp. Against a dropping hand style like Froch has, he will do lot of damages if Froch doesn't move up his hands. It will be Pascal great handspeed against Froch's power. The big issue is Pascal's left shoulder. If he has totally recovered, there you will see amazing fast short combinations (4-5-6) from him. It will come from every angles. Froch is usually quite static in a ring. He coud become an easy target for Pascal's combinations if he is 100% healthy. For sure, Pascal won't be intimidated to fight in England. He already felt good sensations overthere by winning the gold medal at the Commonweatlh Games few years ago. He trusts the fairness of the judges in England. In addition, I am sure he will deliver a better performance in England than Montreal. At home, he would have tried to please the local crowd. My pick: Pascal UD!
