Can Thomas Hearns win a decision over Mayweather Jr. & Whitaker?

Tommy v pea looks like tito v pea imo.

Pea will avoid a whole lot of shots but tommy will still be pounding away with straight shots and mounting an offence such that pea will never get beyond a defensive stature.

P4p pea is more skilled than tommy but guys like pea won't beat guys like tommy.

In a way it's like byrd v wlad; one guy is clearly more skilled but the physical limitations prevent it being an overly competitive fight.

 

Who has sweet pea faced that had hearns overall capabilities? He was frightening and he wasn't even physically mature yet.

 

I agree with kurupt, noone has ever outboxed pea so noone ever would.

It's why I scoff at his notion of tommy outboxing floyd, show me a list of fighter's who've ever outboxed him?

How can something look like Pea.. when it was a blown up Pea, past his prime on coke and he STILL WASN'T KO'D by an all time ww puncher in Tito. How on God's Green Earth can you say that is how Pea will look when you consider WHICH Pea it was...

It's also funny that you find it funny that I said nobody has outboxed Pea, when I was replying to somebody that said nobody outboxes Tommy... Guess it was cause I picked somebody you didn't eh?

 

I think that's how the fight would look but on a higher skill level.

Pea will be defensively great but his attack will be pretty non existent in my eyes because he'll be constantly on the end of tommy's long arms.

Pea doesn't get knocked out but he won't win many rounds. Prime leonard only won a handful of rounds against tommy before stopping him.

Know I found it funny because you could have used the exact argument against yourself for picking tommy over floyd; the irony amused me

So actually, it WOULDN'T look anything like that fight, since ya know, you just said it would be on a higher skill level. At least we got that part out of the way. I think a better indication of how the fight would look and even then it's not a Prime Pea is Hoya vs. Pea. Hoya was very aggressive and tried to use his length as well (not as much as Tommy would, but he was also more aggressive than Tommy would be). Imo, you just don't outbox Pea, that isn't going to happen. You need to be aggressive and outwork Pea, and that isn't Tommy's style.

If you notice, I gave Floyd more of a chance against Tommy than anybody, and you could tell that by my initial post. So I couldn't use any "argument against myself", when I've already given him more credit than most. Difference is, I feel like Pea is better is virtually every area compared to Floyd, and thus, there is no mutually inclusive argument for both.

 

Well we've no idea what it would actually look like since it will actually never happen.

I summise he will lose in similar fashion to the way he lost to tito.

Therefore, it's safe to conclude he wouldn't lose to anyone.

 

He has a very good chance of knocking both guys out within 12 rds but if he didn`t, he would definitely decision both of them, I`ve absolutely no doubts about that, Hearns is all wrong for both of these defensive masters, see Hearns vs Benitez for details in how these fights might go.

 

True... neither does Whitaker tho... this kurupt **** at least picked Hearns over Floyd albeit too close for my liking BUT he actually picked Pea to beat Hearns, thats worse than saying Floyd loses competitively.

LMAO... My bad for picking the guy who is higher up on an ATG list. Who beat better people than Tommy and did so with greater ease than Tommy.
