Can toney do this to couture?

Couture is very smart and very good at sticking to gameplans. He also cares a ton about his legacy. Silvia was dumb and wanted to prove he was good at something that he's not and had a bad gameplan even for that.

If Toney knocks out Couture (slim and none) it will be because he (Toney) stuffed a takedown and made Couture stand with him. It won't be because Couture stands in front of him like a ****ing punching bag.

 

I doubt it.. Although I do believe Randy would be foolish to try to push him into the cage and dirty box with James.

Sylvia even said that Couture is too smart to let that happen to him. Tim is also an out of shape piece of **** and half the grappler that Randy is.

 

Yes its a possibility if Couture decides to stand with Toney...Randy has shown that he can get KO'ed if a flush punch land...Lets not forget that Big Nog KO'ed him not to long ago.

 

Exactly, but being realisticly, I doubt that Couture would stand and try to trade with Toney...If he does then he's a dumbass for even trying.

 

toney isn't really known to be a huge puncher at heavyweight. he's not a ray mercer when it comes to power put it that way.

 

If you watch close Tim trys to throw a right-left combo unless the left was just a result of having his clock cleaned but anyway he got countered by Mercer. I dont believe that Couture is stupid enough to throw any punches on his feet agianst a ATG counter puncher in James Toney especially having been KOed a few times recently he knows his chin is not granite and he cant just fool around. Couture I believe will shoot on JT within 15 secounds.

If he shoots on Toney, james may catch him with a right uppercut followed by a left hook.

 

Have you ever shoot for a takedown ? Anything is possible but its highly unlikely especially since Couture has great technique hes been wrestling probably longer then JT has been doing boxing. When you shoot your hips drop and your knees bend and his head will be up agianst Toney's ribs driving Toney into the ground. Ill never count Toney out with his boxing especially vs a guy who has only MMA and military type boxing training but chances are very high he misses and gets dumped on his ass.
