After seeing Vitaly Klitschko make such a fantastic comeback I started wondering if Kostya Tszyu who is only 2 years older than Vitaly and retired little over 3 years ago, will be able to lunch a successful comeback to the 140 division. After all, the 140 division is not that deep in terms of talent.

Deeper than Heavy, I dont think between bradley, Hatton and Paulie there is a light welter he can currently beat...

No chance. Coming back at heavyweight is completely different from coming back in any other weight division.

Isn't Tsyzu pretty content with being retired too? I mean, it's not as if injuries retired him, he pretty much spent it all in the ring and was just ready to retire. Everything I have read seems to point to him being happy with retirement and ready to stay there.

I think that Tszyu is making more money out of the ring than he ever did whilst in it .A comeback is very unlikely.

Age REALLY matters at lighter weights, at heavyweight they seem to be able to get away with being 36+ without too much trouble.

Tszyu was shot mate....and the horrible dirty low blow in the round proceding the quiting only made matters worse for Tszyu......A prime Tszyu hands a grade A beatdown to Hatton and stops him earlier than PBF did:deal

you either don't know what shot means or didn't see the fight. he was top 3 p4p when hatton beat him and had just demolished mitchell a few months before the hatton fight. and that low blow wasn't in the round before he quit. typical australian bitterness over that fight your only decent (adopted) boxing champ beaten by a brit, it must still hurt lol.

He wasn't shot at all - anybody who says such ridiculous things clearly doesn't know boxing.

No doubt you were backing your man Tszyu to stop Hatton?

If he was really shot, wouldn't Ricky have put him away much easier?

140 isn't deep?, you must be joking.

Torres, Holt, Hatton, Malignaggi, Bradley, Witter, Ortiz, D.Hopkins, Judah. The division is one of the best out there.
