Seems unlikely. Klitschko had the benefit of very little punishment in the ring, going the distance only once, being only hit hard by two opponents (Sanders, Lewis). His style depends on using his height, which he will obvioulsy never lose. Tszyu needs superior skills to beat opponents, Vitali can beat fighters with equal or better skills because of his height, power, reach, chin. Skills tend to diminish with age, many of Klitschko's best attributes don't.

He wasn't shot but he was deminished and had been out of action for a long time..basically at that stage of his career he wasn't fit to handle a fighter like Hatton. (Also to those who bring up the Mitchel fight as evidence that Tszyu was apparently some kind of prime - please understand that Tszyu loves slicksters especially southpaws - that was a styalistic match made in heaven for him and he could probably deliver that performance at the age of 47. It masked a lot of things. )

He should definitely not come back though.

Oh come off it. The low blows by Tszyu were borderline and accidental and they did not hurt Hatton's balls. Many people consider one of them a legitimate knockdown. The 'response' by Hatton was deliberate and hit Tszyu right in the testicles and nearly crippled him. He's lucky he had children already. Dirty sportsmanship by the thug Hatton and anybody who apologises for it by saying it was 'payback' is a flat out moron.

Sure, if he can find a 140 lb champ that fights as pathetically as Sam Peter then he's a shoe in.

There's no comparison between Vitali's comeback and what KT would have to do to win a belt at 140!

tszyu is too smart to come back&he's one of the only retired fighters that seems content with his accomplishments&legacy,as he should be.
