Can Tua at the age of 35 now get back into the heavy weight title scence , or do you believe he is now a ' shot ' fighter? , i dont understand why he fights at such a low level of late.

I think he'd have a slight chance to beat Chagaev, and a fair/good chance at beating Peter, if can work himself into a titlefight.

After all this time of fighting low level competition, Tua must finally feel he's finally ready to start taking on better competition, now that he is apparently looking to fight the Arreola Witherspoon winner.

I don't even think he wants a title at the pace he's been fighting

Tua, in the right matches, can make for some good fights today.

Iff he gets the right match up he could possibly grab a belt.

I wouldn't count on it happening, hell, I still have my doubts he actually fights the winner of Arreola and Witherspoon.

Tua couldn't pick up a belt when he was younger, lighter, dedicated, and simply better.

    Ain't likely to happen now.

He looked very good against Hawkins, Montana and Fox. For the Hawkins fight he went 10 rounds with a strong workrate against a reputable journeyman who's made a few upsets in his time. His weight was at a 7 year low, 234lbs, and he looked quicker and more dangerous as a result.

A fight against the winner of Arreola - Witherspoon would be great for him, I wouldn't rule him out against Sam Peter or Ruslan Chagaev.

Never had the title but he could regain it because he has the power to KO anyone in the world but its doubtful.

I agree about his chances against both champs, but he has to stay away from Wlad, that's a bad matchup for him.

Truth is, he is so long from his last meaningfull fight that nobody can say for sure if he still has it. At 35, he still may, but probably not.

To be competitive, first he has to shed the excessive wheight to go back to 225-230lbs, than he has to demonstrate the hunger/desire that will take him there.

He is being given a tremendous chance for a quick last shot at a title. Arreola should be ranked top 5 both by the WBC and WBA after his win against Whiterspoon, which could give his fight against Tua mandatory status, in case Tua fights a credible opponent this July and climbs up the rankings.

I believe Tua should look for names like Ruiz, Maskaev, Meehan, Moorer, Krasniqi, Liakhovich, D. Holmes, Carl Davis Drummond, M. Scott, Sprott, all fighters he can beat, for july. Or at least Ahunanya, Oquendo, Rossy, Minto, Greenberg.

1 title bout in his entire career, while the guy he iced in 19 seconds has had 10.

    Life's a funny *****, isn't it?
