tyson obviously would be as quick at 43 as he was at 21 but he would still be quicker than most of the heavyweights out there . he showed good handspeed against t rex sanders.
Al of Tysons good habits disappeared when Rooney went and he then just relied on power after that. The head movement and the very under rated jab were long gone and Tyson ended up losing to fighters like Douglas,Holyfield and Lewis fighters Tyson would have destroyed when in his prime.
Valuev was stunned by Barrett punch in the 1st round if i remember correctly. And Valuev clearly lost to freaking Donald and 46 year old Holyfield.
Yeah definitely, just needs to do some cardio to lose the weight. He'll always have the natural speed and punch power. I think if he was coached by Freddy Roach for a couple of months, he could become world champion again. I think he could outbox Vitali in a unanimous decision, and probably use the rope-a-dope technique to tire out someone like David Haye and then knock him out in the last couple of rounds.
I think he could sell against Haye and if you think thats not what Don King is thinking by leaving it open ended your crazy. The Brits would eat that fight up! Do I think he should as a fan ABSOLUTELY NOT! But could it happen if Haye beats Valuev OR Admadek gets a strap ! Look at Williams and McBride they were just very big guys Tyson needed a smaller opponent in front of him to even have the confidence. But I hope he stays happy husky and RETIRED !!!
Depends on who he fights. If took a few months to work himself in shape, he could probably knock out a few tomato cans, maybe even a glass-jawed journeyman or two, and then get, say, a rematch with Holyfield to cash out. That's about all you're looking at with a Tyson comeback. In terms of ever being even a minor force in the division again? No way. That's a pipe dream. But he could make some retirement money.
