Remember Roberto Duran had those same evil black eyes walking through the crowd ringside after accepting congrats for decimating a journeyman on the undercard of Ali-Frazier I

There are some people who look deceptively non-threatening, who have been some serious killers in the sport of boxing.

Early Pacquiao is a great example.

Also, Floyd Patterson's demeanor would not have anyone think he's some killer, although.. when he stepped in the ring, turned out he was a real beast.

Couldn't agree more, MM. When I first met Pac, thought he was a beaming child.

Pacquiao may not look tough from a typical "bad guy" perspective. But back to my point about facial features - pronounced brow and squared jaw (even as a teenager) would suggest a heightened level of testosterone.

I learned a long time ago never to judge a book by its cover. Some of the most bad ass guys in the Kenpo studio I trained in were neither large in stature nor walking around with a scowl on their faces.

Well Ray Leonard looked like a pretty boy and I'm not sure there was anyone mentally tougher.

The Baby Faced Assassin was vicious down deep.
