With Alex Arthur becoming the new WBO super feather weight world champion fighting under the SN banner will Warren try to fix up a fight between him and young Kevin Mitchell or will he keep them apart and get Mitchell a shot at IBF world champion Cassius Baloyi?

Mitchell is currently ranked 3rd by the WBO and 4th by the IBF. Cassius Baloyi is a good champion but not considered in the real elite of the division and definetly a lesser gamble to take than the Arthur vs Guzman fight was.

Add to this the problems in South Africa between rival promoters for Baloyi, Medina and Malcolm Klassen. Baloyi recently won his belt by beating Mzonke Fana and was wanting to fight Medina (IBF2) instead of Klassen (IBF3). But Klassens promoters had already arranged for Medina to fight Klassen in an eliminator. The winner gets to fight Baloyi. After these fights (the eliminator is due in July) Warren will be free to bring whoever is the IBF belt holder over to Britain to fight Mitchell. By that time Mitchell would have faced another decent opponent and be very willing to take the fight.

I'd get Mitchell to go for Baloyi but then Warren might want to keep this **** in house.

Yeh but a Unification would be a massive match. Mitchell should go for Baloyi but Arthur is apparently struggling to make super feather so he might wanna get mitchell on that WBO belt as soon as possible.

But the Arthur vs Guzman fight, whether by accident or design (and design is still looking favourite), was a gamble that Warren didn't take in the end.

Yep. You are right but what I am saying is that Mitchell whether you rate him or not is positioned in a good place to gain a fight for the IBF title against an opponent who is not great.
