Can we agree there are more categories than champion & bum?

it’s not the terminology of or how fighters are classified by morons that make intelligent conversation difficult. It’s trying to have intelligent conversations with unintelligent morons that make it difficult.

100% agree but for some reason things that make sense doesn’t make sense online..

 

Its really simple.

On this forum, if you dont like a boxer, all their opponents are bums. If one of his opponents fought a boxer you're a fan of, that boxer was obviously good in THAT match but not when they fought the guy you hate.

Doesnt matter if that opppnent was undefeated or on a win streak, it means they never fought anyone and got "exposed" as a "hype job" when they lost to the disliked boxer.

Doesnt matter if they have impressive stoppage wins over rated, name opponents. Doesnt matter if they have a high KO%. KO percentages are misleading and meaningless...unless youre talking about a fighter you like.

The moment they are KO'd, they have a glass jaw. Doesnt matter if they have a deep resume or faced many legit punchers. If they dont like a guy, they will throw any opppnent under the bus.

Doesnt matter if the opponent was ranked in the top 10 at the time. Obviously the [insert sanctioning body] made special favors/reveived bribes/got sucked off and manipulated the rankings to make [insert fighter people dont like] look good.


But seriously. There's more than 2 class of fighters. Im quite certain 90% of the people calling fighters "bums" couldn't hit the heavybag for 4 rounds without having a heart attack, let alone beat a 4 round boxer.

if anyone is an elite fighter they are in it were top 10 in that era.

Those who have actually boxed know they don't hand out top level matches like candy. Most posters on here have never had cuts over their eyes let alone hit a heavy bag.

each person has a criteria but you need to be a top guy to stay in top 10 sometimes they lose to the number 1 or 3 guy ,so at I they bums ? Well not unless you can beat them yourselves and I highly doubt anyone can even throw a correct punch on here ?

but that's neither here or there....fans are supposed to encourage multiple match ups.....

Breazeale is still in my top 10, he lost to the number 2/3 guy and isn't a demotion. You guys have to stop being stupid.

I'm going to do ahead to head thread bc it's about that time......


Elite fighters are indeed the guys at top 5. But you need to be elite to actuall be at world level, some instances that don't comply to there are like Martin or stiverne 2 fights so stop the idiocy .

Let everyone fight everyone and stop shooting guys down, it's the poisonous fans why I can't get a hold of BreaZeale, thanks a lot guys! Lol

 

I actually just made a similar thread, and I swear I didn't see this thread before I made it.

I've never personally really liked "gatekeeper" or "journeyman" designations, on a personal preference though. I really prefer just keeping it mostly numeric, like Divisions Top, top 5, top 10, top 15, top 25, top 50 etc.
