Garcia hasn't fought since January. Obvious he's waiting on Floyd but I don't see it happening. He should wait for the winner of Porter Thurman and try to unify. Possible PPV on Shiwtime?

 

The thing is you take away Matthysse and Khan and he still has a better resume than Gennady.

Kell Brook is a bigger farce. Look at his last three fights and his cherrypick going for one of the weakest beltholders in Vargas.

Mayweather is an even bigger farce. What 'TBE' goes through his whole career not fighting any at-or-near-prime ATG's/high level HOF's?

2 decent wins is more than most these days, I'll give you that. But this has nothing to do with Golovkin, and Garcia is in a completely different situation. He's got his pick of opponents. Everyone wants a piece of Swift.

 

Why should Garcia mention Brook's name? Brook is the n.1 cherrypicker in boxing today. He has one good win on his resume - apart from that he's been on a steady diet of bums, and by his own volition.

At least Garcia has fought 4 oк 5 A-level guys and about 6 or 7 B-level guys. Brook's resume is absolutely laughable.

 

He has 3 gift decisions (Theophane, Herrera, Peterson) and several fights he won by the skin of his teeth against B-/C+ level opposition (Holt, Guerrero, Matthysse).

He's easily the most overrated welterweight there is right now and it isn't even close.

 

I didn't know a guy being the champ at 140 was seen as being a joke of a career?? If that's the case pretty much every boxer in the sport career has been a joke.:deal
