Doesn't want the top fighters in the WW division.

This dude always reminded me of Khan. He only chases a payday and easy fights he knows he will win. Khan atleast has an excuse with his chin so of course he tries to limit opposition he faces but Thurman is over here acting like he runs 147.

I will admit I never liked him but he doesn't dive into challenges and gets slightly exposed in fights he wins that are set up for him to look good in.

Spence and Thurman get this guy. He knows this and he doesn't want neither. He doesn't want to be a true great. He's content with a win over Danny Garcia and he's already talking retirement.

I don't understand how anyone ever got off with this dude. He was always a fake, half ass champ. Danny atleast was proving nay Sayers wrong. Thurman on the other hand is the definition of calculated risk and really hasn't proven anything.

I think he should at the very least give Brook a payday but I doubt he even wants that fight.

Seems to be a problem of inactivity... As opposed to ducking top talent. "One time" has a new meaning.

Thurman is no worse than Crawford, however at least he has stepped up and fought world class opponents.

I kind of get that feeling more at this stage of his career. Before, he seemed more hungry and willing to get in with the best. Since some new blood has entered the welterweight division he's seemed to become more complacent and demanding. He deserves credit for his accomplishments but he still needs to seek the best to form a strong legacy

His resume is definitely stronger than Terry's....But I think Crawford would beat him at 147.

Porter and Garcia back to back is solid. Spence will happen sooner rather than later, he's just inactive and struggles with injury. Just had surgery.

You can't compare Keef to Crawford. Regardless of how weak 140 is, which isn't Buds fault, he cleaned up the division and gathered the belts. The top guys at 147 are mainly Haymon guys, they should be fighting each other.

Thurman is approaching Khan level, not there yet but he doesn't fight often and says dumb **** like Spence won't be his next fight or the one after it, wtf?

Runtime is quickly starting to rub me the wrong way. He seems content with his place in boxing now.

ESPN has Shawn Porter #4 and Danny Garcia #5.
Ring has Shawn Porter #3 and Danny Garcia #5.

So I think we can conclude he is willing to fight the top fighters of the WW division.

Keith 'Fight One Time Each Year' Thurman.

Wasn't he talking about retiring not so long ago?

Thurman doesnt seem hungry anymore and it's almost like having wins over Porter & Garcia is good enough to call it a career.

Got a gift against Porter and squeaked by much smaller Danny Gracia and many of you were putting him ahead of GGG P4P but now he is on your hit list because of avoiding Spence. It has always been like pulling teeth with this guy to get him in the ring with good fighters but suddenly when he pulls this with Spence the usual suspects start to notice.
