Can we as boxing fans do anything about this PBC/Haymon Farce?

All we can do is not watch. Make our point with reducing viewership.

Correct. If you don't like a product, simply don't support it. However, Haymon is investing hundreds of millions into the sport, his fighters love him, his fighters are well paid, The PBC series is keeping these fighters active, and his new platform has gone away from the ppv market and the fights are now readily available to a wider audience.

So with that said, it appears to me that there is an ulterior motive for the some of the extreme criticism towards Haymon. In my opinion, many critics seem downright offended that Haymon is so influential.

What I don't like about the PBC is that other fighters are being ignored because they are in another "Universe".

They're "Top" contenders and matched soft time and time again.

We are getting fights that us fans have not asked for.

Ignoring boxing history with no or little regard for belts or traditional ranking systems.

Calling their fighters the best or champion in their division when they are clearly not.

PBC fighters calling themselves the best in their division or the campion in their division.

    No ring announcer.

    No ring girls.

No walk out music and ring walk that builds a fight up.

Giving a way so many tickets that it makes it difficult for other promotional companies to sell tickets after a Haymon show papers its arenas and venues.

Has its fighter fight in irrelevant markets which prevents gate revenue and building a fighters marketability.

PBC fighters losing out on potential career defining and legacy creating wins.

Fighters are more concerned about the business side of boxing instead of their legacy.

Did I mention no ring girls?! J/K. [emoji2]

The ONE thing that I do like about the PBC is that the fighters are paid well.

:deal It's free so what did you expect? Never understood the "whole world against Haymon" thing tbh.

It's free, it's boxing, watch or don't watch.
    That's it!:-(

This and in addition the financial model of buying air time and over paying the fighters are simply unsustainable.Sooner, rather than later the institution backing this business plan will be pulling the plug.As far as the individuals saying that it's great getting FREE boxing-you get what you pay for and in this case it's mostly garbage in garbage out.

Exactly, its unsustainable. These fanboys think though that the Al Haymon is a generous character and he will keep overpaying fighters and have free boxing on network tv forever. They are the type of people who just expect a "handout" if you know what I mean.

The purpose though is to get all the fans hooked and then pay the fighters **** and over charge the networks. It's how you build a monopoly.

I'm not a fan of the PBC platform but I have watched all the fights. I don't agree with the monopolising but I have never felt the urge to write to
"Lawmakers" as you call it. I'm a boxing fan, I watch boxing.

Apathetic folks like you ruin the sport. I bet your one of those guys who saw the decision in the Pascal fight and didn't care at all.

We as fans need to work together to hold judges/promoters/officials accountable for their actions. If you don't care then the sport can't make progress.

    I ruin the sport? Away!

I'll let your Arum's and De La Hoya's take PBC to task on the manoeuvres they make in boxing. Me? I watch PBC on Sky Sports in the UK. I pay for my subscription so if boxing is on, I'm going to watch it. Fans have never been able to make a change in the sport, the money men do. I have the same problem with Eddie Hearn in the UK however, unless you have a public voice then all your doing is ****ing in the wind. Good luck with your revolution though.
