Exactly and before I would have said it was legal from floyd but is it not illegal to intice a fighter to drop their guard for sportsmanship and then wack them? Very doubtful case now I think more about this

yep! it wasn't the fact he carried on fighting it was the way he used underhand tactics to trick ortiz. he shouldn't get ANY respect for that fight. i hope he feels bad for it!

if that was done on the street you would think that person is a grade A ****, it's just something you don't do!

Yeah Ortiz should had kept his guard up or looked toward Floyd after the first punch landed. One apology would have been fine whatever.Yes Ortiz was wrong for headbutting Floyd, but he was penalized a point for it.

Cortez,,,i dont know what happened with him or what the hell he was doing at the time of the ko punches landed. And yes it is protect yourself at all times.

But the fact is that a class act true professional would not have done what mayweather jr did.Floyd knew, and you could see it in the replays,he knew what he was planning on doing when Ortiz approached Floyd to apologize the last time before the KO.

It was a classless move IMHO.

Two wrongs dont make a right and even though you could argue that what Mayweather Jr did was legal,it sure doesn't make it right.

the fact floyd may benefit from this in the sense that more people will tune into his fights is what pisses me off. what he deserves is a massive fine and for everyone to boycott his next fight. people saying "its boxing not tiddly winks" ect. ok well next time you see a kid do exactly the same thing in the ring cus he's copying mayweather then i hope that sits pretty with you.
