I keep hearing stories about it over the yrs but now he is what, 35/36? With so many of his contemporaries still fighting at the top level ie Marquez, Barrera and one making a comeback he could have had a chance for some big money fights if he was in shape.

Can we finally say its too late Hamed you blew it big time, fat loser

the fact that NAz retired almost straight after the Barrera fight tells u that even he wasnt hungry for it any more.

but lets not forget his accomplisments. 17 World Title fights (10 World champs) 4 titles

He should have won world titles at Bantam and Super if he had a better promoter...ashame he had to go the WBO route like Calzaghe....its easier to build up a stat record.

Even though an excellent career i truly beleive it should have been a HOF career if he was motivated. I think he would have lost to Barrera and Marquez 7 out of 10 times (he would struggle with counterpunchers), I think he could have beaten Pacman and Morales.

Put it this way he brought the big money to the lower weight class

i said that about Naz after the Barrera fight.

even though i hated the guy, i still have to say that i miss the entertainment he brought in all of his fights. he was one of kind.

He's never coming back. There would be no point.

Plus, he's heavier than Vitali Klitschko, so if he did, Naz would have to work his way down to Crusierweight.

i'm sure he feels really bad about his career. he lives in a country house with an estate in the sussex countryside with his beautiful wife and kids. he has more money than he could ever spend and continues to tease the press with his pronouncements. it must hurt him to know some boxing fans consider him a loser.
