That was the headline on this week's Boxing News - and Sky repeat this ad nauseum.

IMO Joshua has faced a series of Matchroom knock over jobs & 2 game but limited second tier opponents in Whyte & Brezeale. They took 100s of clean shots between them and went 14 rounds between them.

It seems pretty clear to me Joshua's KO power has been exaggerated. Even with his quick stoppages the opponent is almost always on his feet with the ref jumping in.

I think Joshua's power is nowhere near the level of Wilder, Price, Teper, Browne, Klitschko etc

Sky hype or do Brezeale and Whyte have granite chins?

Sky and Hearn failing big time to try and convince us this is Mike Tyson Mark 2, Joshua is a low-life piece of shi* who will get KTFO by the first decent opponent he faces, he is a Sky hype job just like Price was, and we all know how that ended.

He's looked good but against very limited opposition, its now time for a true step up.

Side note it boils my **** seeing that smug grin when he sticks his tongue out when he has a fighter hurt. Fair enough in a good fight but not against the calibre he has been facing.

Sky have built Whyte up as 'World Level' though to fit the narrative that Joshua is a potential ATG.

Strangely in his 2 other fights on Sky vs Minto & that Cruiserweight last night he looked domestic level ...

I agree they have marketed him as though he is the new Tyson and fair play to them it's worked because people have bought into it. Ultimately he isn't the new Tyson but he has still got very good power.

Think they will avoid Haye as Hearn hasn't really been mentioning him for future fights recently despite saying Joshua vs Haye is the biggest fight out there

Incredibly poor choice of opponents by Matchroom. Just don't understand why they put Whyte in with Minto and then Bacurin. Why choose a mobile cruiser that hasn't come to win and is trying to survive? The fighter is always going to look bad.
Same with Dave Allen...why choose an injured Jason Gavern?

The puddings he has faced look as though they would have went over with a Carl Frampton fart.

Beginning to question AJ's power as well now.

He is more Bruno than Iron Mike, that is obvious. I don't think he hits as hard as Bruno, is a bit more mobile but Bruno was pretty flat footed.
