Can we now put to bed the myth "if AJ hits you the fights over"

    True. Boxing is a cruel game anyway. Some fighters like to show their cruel sadistic streak. I don't like it much but it's always been part of boxing.
    I've never known a fighter to do it as much as AJ against overmatched opponents and still be portrayed as a squeaky clean 'white hat' kind of personality. AJ may yet make a good 'villain'.

    Both went into survival mode quite quickly. Brave and tough but very quickly became very alert to the heaviness of the shots. In both cases when Joshua put his shots together and landed clean, they were in trouble.

    My concern for AJ is I'd like him to be more defensively alert as he'll fight better fighters who won't let him have these spells of head up/hands down.

    Very true.

    Whilst I'm not sold yet on AJ being the future of the division he has got immense talent.

    But AJ the person is fake,it comes across as fake and imo the squeaky clean humble act is starting to slip. Just be yourself, but the arrogance he shows at times to sub par opposition is imo uncalled for.
