Can we please finally give Fury the credit he deserves?

For his ATG masterclass in Germany!

Jesus if Tyson doesn't come back, this "caught a champion at the right time" crap will haunt me to the grave. It shows an embarrassing lack of knowledge on the sport.

Wlad was at at the top of the division for over 10 years, wiping out everything put in front of him. A man who never cut a corner in his life, his training is analytical like most elite athletes. If he can't hit his numbers in camp, he doesn't fight. Are you telling me he didn't prepare properly for Fury or something?

Ironically when AJ went life and death with Wlad, the widely beaten year and a half inactive veteran suddenly became the best in the division again. By all accounts, Wlad is still the best in the division after "the magnificent" AJ. But when Fury fought Wlad, apparently he caught him at the right time yea? Shameless bias.

Watch the bloody fight again, Tysons elite head movement has rarely been seen in heavyweight history. And this is a 6 foot 9 man we're talking about, with a monstrous reach. H2H that night in Germany only a handful in history catch him with something big.

Name five better wins from British fighters. If you take into account that it was in Germany and Fury was just 27, I bet you can't! Whatever you think about him outside the ring, do yourself a favor, take off the hate-filled glasses and finally give that young man the credit he deserves for an outstanding win.

The Tyson Fury that outboxed Wlad in Germany would be a problem for anyone. Outboxing Wladimir Klitschko is a pretty damn good accomplishment. Wladimir lost how many rounds up to that fight?!

I hope Fury comes back strong.

Manny Steward, the man who made Wlad the great fighter her became, predicted Tyson would be the next dominant heavyweight out there. And you people are telling me Wlad took Fury lightly? It's ludicrous! Wlad wasn't prime but he showed in the AJ fight that Fury's style simply immobilised him. There's a term for that, it's called "the sweet science!"

He gets credit for the winning the match. BUT........

Feinting a thousand times while on your bike for 12 rounds is not a dominant performance.

Fury averaged 7 landed punches per round. Wlad landed 4 punches per round.

The fight sucked and neither man fought like a champion that night.

This. Fury had Wlad uncomfortable the whole fight. Everytime Wlad tried to setup his shots Fury would make him restart and tag him. Fury's reach also had Wlad hesitating. Wlad certaintly wasn't in his prime, but Fury and his team came with the perfect gameplan to win.

That puts you into the "most people don't know **** about boxing" category. Congratulations.

    It was a masterclass!

It was an awful fight with little action and rounds were won by 2-3 landed punches. That isn't a masterclass. A masterclass is what Calzaghe did to Lacy.

Another idiot. If you make Wladimir hit you just four times a round, you've immobilised one of the best heavyweight offences of all time. If you hit you hit him more times than he's hit you, you've executed the sweet science perfectly.

Fury fought like a champion, one hell of a champion!

Completely immobilising an offence like Wlad's using head movement and footwork is a masterclass in defence. How on earth could anyone say different?

That isn't what happened because if that was the case Fury would have thrown and landed more punches than he did. It was a putrid fight. Some rounds were so bad and inactive it was hard to score for either fighter.

What are you talking about? Wlad couldn't even throw a punch because Fury's awkward movement wouldn't let him settle. It was a world class gameplan executed but wordclass skill.

The fight was very easy to score. Fury by a landslide, no one had ATG Wlad anywhere near winning.

Fury was extremely boring, albeit extremely effective.

He was controlling the action. He was in dominant range. He looked like he was toying with Wlad.

It's understsandable why people thought it was a fluke the first time around. He didin't beat Wlad the same way AJ did. Then he went away never to be seen again. It should be clear now even to the most thick what Fury did.

I myself knew that Fury was something good and that it was no fluke.

but where is he now? why should we care about him now?
