Can we please finally give Fury the credit he deserves?

Looks to be quietly going about his training now and dropping weight. Sparring three days a week I believe, old school. If he keeps that up, gets his licence and goes into a proper camp, he'll recapture the magic!

Before that fight people were talking like Wlad is impossible to outbox.

Styles make fights. Fury had the style to beat Wlad that night. Was it a fluke? Maybe, maybe not. Sadly he didn't remove the doubts by honouring the rematch or even defending the titles.

Given his struggles with far lesser men like McDermott, Pajkic and Cunningham, the doubts will remain.

At the end of the day, there are just too many question marks hanging over Fury - drug controversy, lifestyle, mental state, etc. Until he gets back in shape and puts together a meaningful run, he won't be taken seriously and will always be seen as a one hit wonder.

It was a well worked game plan by Fury and his team. It frustrates me when people claim otherwise.

However, it's equally frustrating when people claim that it was a prime Vlad - it wasn't. Was it the best Vlad could have been, given his age/circumstances? Sure, but that's not prime.

Either way, Fury needs to come back and mix it up with the active elites, otherwise he'll just end up being that guy on Vlad's ATG documentary that finally stopped him and then disappeared.

Who ever claimed it was prime Wlad? Nobody! However, he was made look so ordinary by Fury I think Fury could beat prime Wlad. When Fury boxes with discipline, head movement and footwork behind his jab H2H he's a nightmare for anyone.

People also forget Tyson wasn't prime. At 27 he was a pup, probably 5 years away from his prime.

He's 28/29 now. An active Fury wouldn't hit prime til 32/33. What on earth is your point?

Tyson Fury beat a 2000 year old Wladimir Klitscko in the most boring heavyweight title fight in history and to the Brits it makes him a boxing hero. Tyson Fury was a joke and always will be a joke. A big ugly, dumb PED using, coke head. Who almost got knocked out by blown up cruiserweight Steve Cunningham with one punch.

If Fury would get off his fat arse and start training he could best all heavyweights, but he is too damned lazy to do so!
