Can we Please show some Respect for Fonfara

    Instead of all this negative garbage about how now Chavez Jr. is a Bum, Overrated, etc,. how about showing respect for the great job Fonfara did to break this guy down & cause him to quit onhis stool? He fought a great fight & put Chavez into retirement at an early age tonight & I'm Lovin' every freaking minute on it!:!:

    Anyone else out there gonna miss this Jackass?& now we have a Stevenson vs Fonfara rematch to look forward to!!!:happy

    And maybe even Kovalev vs Fonfara one day!?:think

    I think Kovalev is giving him a title shot in case negotiations with Stevenson do not work out, though Fonfara stands no chance against Kovalev.

    Still, I got a lot of respect for Fonfara, esp. after post-fight interview, where he was speaking English fluently and showed some boxing knowledge. He's cool.

    But Chavez Jr. is still a fraud, bum, overrated etc.

    I'm a polish American but was never too fond of fonfara I'll have to see this fight

    Thanks for acknowledging about the decent English Fonfara was specking. Good for him to take to time to learn the language in the country were he's earning a living.

    And this leads me to explain part of the reason I hated Chavez Sr over the years. The guy made Millions$$$ fighting in Vegas in his career & never bothered to learn to speak one fking word of English, even to this day. To hell with him & his lazy ass son.

    Dude, same here about me questioning whether Fonfara could get the job done or not in the past. But it seems that he his turning into one tough SOB to deal with in the ring & that's whats we're looking for!

    Yet Fonfara was an underdog and expected to be slaughtered. **** off with your negativity and tears, loser. By the way, the Catchweight was requested by Chavez and this was his second fight at Light Heavyweight.
