Can we PLEASE stop these underrated overrated BS threads!

Tyson is underrated though.. especially H2H. People must know and this thread shall not stop us from spreading the truth!

i made a thread about this in the classic forum(the overated underated champions of all time) anyways the point is that people who say a certain fighter is overated and underated is a very elitist thing.

for example mike tyson is a underated by classic forum guys and overated by the younger generation.

now when you have a fighter like tyson who is a very public figure this takes away alot of his mythology.

and yet we see guys like langford and greb beating him in head 2 head match ups atsch.


anyways it's a very elitist thing of saying good fighters arnt as good becuase it makes the person sound like they have a higher knowledge.

 

Sould we stay quiet while fighters overrate themselves and underrate others? That would be a good counter question. I think that predicting fights, commenting on past fights and rating fighters are the main reasons for a Boxing Forum, not exactly passing judgement on other posters' comments but I guess anyone is entitled to say anything as long as it has to do with boxing one way or the other.
