Can we read much into Froch's defeat to Kessler?

    Can we read much into Froch's defeat to Kessler going into the Ward fight? Or in a funny way can Froch use the defeat to his advantage in the fact that he should just stick to his boxing skills and use his jab and his reach advantage instead of trying to go to war like he did against Kessler. Personally I think the defeat to Kessler was the best thing that happened to Carl Froch!!!

    I think it's neither here nor there really. It was a close fight. Kessler is a top super middleweight and he has a style that gels with Froch.

    Ward is a different kettle of fish.

    I'm running out of cliches now.

    Froch boxes slightly more now since the Kessler loss where he just tried to out gun Kessler rather than stick to his jab like Calzaggers.

    He still gets persuaded into a fight too easily though, Ward will rough him up with and come in with the head which is going to drag Froch into that kind of fight again, only difference is that Ward wont be able hurt Froch like Johnson and Kessler did.

    Its actually Ironic that Ward gets overated from the kessler fight and Froch gets underated from it. all questions will be answered on Dec 17 hopefully
