Come on mate, Price would never have finished the job, even if he had caught him in the first 30 seconds of the round. Povetkin was staggered, but I don’t think he was in danger of being stopped, especially against Price who was even to scared to try to rush him after he connected.

 

If it weren’t for the ropes Povetkin was gone. Bit more heart and jump on him and you could finish the job there.

 

I must say I saw a big improvement in Price since he left Dave Codpiece.

Certainly not capable at World Level but he could regain the British belt, have a crack at the European Belt then have a final fight against Tyson PED Fury in the Copper Box.

 

Should fight joe Joyce, big enough to headline o2. Joyce does him but would be exciting and he’d get a payday.

 

Any news on the July 27th show or a potential opponent for Price? Seems to have gone quiet for around a month. If the show is indeed going ahead at the Macron in Bolton then I'm assuming that would mean Khan headlining. In which case it's getting late in the game for promotion etc.

 

Povetkin was way too much for Price. Price was moved to quickly, he should have been brought along more slowly, gotten more experience before moving up. He needs to get good sparring, training, fight some easy fights for a change, then make a move up.....................but Povetkin was not hurt, Price had not chance against Povetkin................
