I wonder if Mayweather will take the DLH approach and try to pull Pac at a weight that he's never been before ... maybe for the WBC light middleweight belt? ... why not? ...

or could it be for the legitimate welterweight title?

One thing about the negotiations and the split has to be accounted for is that the public wants Floyd to lose that "0" more than anything else that has to do with that fight.

Is he the emeritus champ there? I thought it was only at 147 he is? Anyway no i think it will be made at 147 for Pacs WBO title on the line.

Floyd holds no titles at either 147 or 154. all of that went away when he retired.

I would post the link to prove it but there is rules against posting links to other boxing sites here. If you dig around you'll see I'm right.

145 and this would be fair for both. pac was 144 while floyd was 146 in their last fights.

Floyd could only manage 146 vs Marquez so anything lower than that jeopardizes the fight.... anyway, after what Pac did to a solid WWT in Cotto, there should be no reason for any catchweight, it will look like weakness or doubt on Roach`s part, especially after all the `Floyd is fragile, we will KO him` talk.

**** catchweights. Floyd Pac 147 end of story. I am tired of these stupid catchweight fights. I cannot call Pac a welter til he fights a prime welter ranked or hodling a belt at 147. Stop drainig your opponents. I like Pac but it gets old wondering if Pac was better or if Cotto was drained.Anyway judging by the Marquez fight when does Floyd obey catchweight weights anyway. And I am sure somebody asked this but how was Manny able to get Cotto's title if it was a catchweight

It shouldn't, the fight should be at either JWW (140) WW (147) or JMW (154) none of this catchweight bull****.

floyd looked like a tank in his last fight against jmm. even looked bigger than cotto during fight night. i would not blame pac and his team if they demand 145.

Nah weight will not be an issue . . . Floyd fought JMM at 144, Pacquiao fought Cotto at 145. My guest is they'll be fighting at 145 . . . if ever.

Money and purse cut will be the Issue.

Weight is only gonna be an issue once Floyd fails to make weight again . . . again just my guess. :deal
